A Relaxed Day in Corfu
We wanted our day in Corfu to include some sightseeing but also leave enough time to relax together. This excursion worked well for that reason. The transportation was comfortable, and our guide was knowledgeable without giving us too much information at once. We enjoyed walking through Corfu Town and hearing about some of the island's history and architecture. After the sightseeing portion, having time for a beach break was exactly what we needed. It was nice to sit back for a while rather than continue with a packed itinerary. We also appreciated the attention given to the cruise departure schedule. The return timing was clearly important, and we felt that this was being taken seriously throughout the day. For a couple wanting a combination of culture, scenery, and relaxation, this was a pleasant way to spend a limited port visit.

History and Beach Time
Our family enjoyed having two very different parts to the day. The first part gave us the opportunity to explore Corfu Town and learn about the island from a fully licensed English-speaking guide. The children were able to stay interested because the guide explained things in a conversational way rather than making everything too formal. After walking around town, the beach break was a welcome change. Everyone had time to relax, and the kids especially enjoyed being able to spend some time near the water. The transportation between locations was comfortable, which was important because of the warm weather. We also felt reassured by the way the return schedule was handled. With a cruise ship waiting at the port, getting back on time was a priority for our family. It was a nice combination of cultural sightseeing and downtime.
