Enjoy a nice cool 35 minutes boat ride from the port of Belize as you will be passing along the mangrove islands to the island of Caye Caulker, Belize city second largest island that has a breathtaking view of the barrier reef. Where a 15 minutes stop is being made for you to use the restroom and change of clothing. Then you will be taking a 5 minute boat ride in front of Caye Caulker to the barrier reef (which is the second largest reef in the world). A 45 minutes snorkeling will be taking place at the Coral Garden where you will be seeing the beautiful Coral reef and fishes, and then a 30 minutes snorkeling with Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays. After the Snorkeling is done the Tour Guide on board will being treating you to a snack and some amazing Rum Punch While heading back to island of Caye caulker where you will be having a beach break and also for you to get a meal and head back in to Belize City after you finish where you will be dropped-off back at the port.

Frustrating Splash Wave Tours
We were told to take the first tender which we did and arrived at 8:30.am as tour should have started at 9:00 am. We were directed to Splash Wave tours. Walk was a bit further than expected. After checking in had to keep waiting and waiting as staff kept waiting for stragglers. At one point Jamal even had to go back into town to pick up stragglers. We tried to prompt staff to get going as did other people. Once we boarded they kept us waiting AGAIN on a hot boat as they waited for four more people.....quite annoying. Once again tried to convince staff to get going with 15 people waiting on a hot and too small a boat. Finally left 70 (SEVENTY) minutes after 9:00 am.......family of 4 for which we ALL waited, were NOT concerned about others AT ALL (attitude and entitlement) while WE were concerned about excursion being cut short and returning in time to tender. Snorkeling and swimming w/ sharks and stingrays was great. Also never were really informed that we had to pay for or own lunch. Overall very frustrating and not the experience we expected.
Response from the operator: Hello, we sorry for the waiting process for the last 4 guests we try our best to make everyone do the tour they book, and we still give the group the same time for the tour and got the group back in time. And also in description/ tour details state no lunch is included. We stop at a restaurant for the guests to purchase own lunch.

Captain Mark was amazing!
This was an incredible tour and the guides were amazing but they didn’t tell us that last minute they combined the early and late tour so we ended up being in the hot sun for over two hours. And then there was the fact that they waited for four people who decided to sleep in and didn’t get there until 10. Ridiculous. It truly was one of the best tours we have gone on - captain Mark found wild dolphins. Unbelievable.

Unforgettable experience.
I loooooooooved the experience! But what made it so joyful were the people! Our crew was absolutely amazing! Jamal and Mark deserve a bonus this year! They went above and beyond. I was traveling with my 8-year-old son, and they made sure he received just as much attention and care as all the adults. That meant so much to me. Jamal and Mark are incredibly experienced, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. They didn’t just run an excursion for us they showed us the best of Belize, its beauty, and its people. Every single one of our needs was taken care of. Even my request for coffee, Mark made sure I got exactly what I wanted! ☕️ I absolutely loved their attitude, their energy, and the entire trip. They made me want to come back again and I WILL be back! I will definitely book with them again. Jamal and Mark, I truly hope Splash Wave Tours recognizes you, promotes you, and gives you the bonus you deserve! You guys are the BEST! ❤️

WORST TOUR COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!!
This company is unethical and unprofessional! Almost ruined our entire trip. I've wanted to swim with sharks my entire life, and another young girl wanted the same, with aspirations of being a marine biologist someday. We came out of the cruise port, some guy walked us through town to a dock with a shack at the end. Upon getting there they told us there weren't enough people to go, so they canceled the trip. They've known long enough what the passenger count would be, to let us know we had to change plans. By the time we were told in person, it was too late to go with another tour company. We even offered to pay for extra tickets to make the minimum. This company wouldn't budge. Worst company I've ever had to deal with through Trip Advisor and Viator. Beware!!! Book with a different company! We scrambled to call companies and finally take a ferry to Caye Caulker and then another private boat to Shark Alley.
