What better way to enjoy the local flavor than a cooking experience!

This was a wonderful activity with a wonderful host. It was fun to go around the produce market with a local, and I enjoyed learning some new knife skills during our cooking experience. Would be a good idea to note that the ending time of the activity is approximate and don't schedule anything afterwards so you can be more relaxed.

Love of Food!!

If food is your Love Language then Chef Ondřej Molina is your Cupid! A leisurely day of walking the food stalls with him to gather ingredients and prepare an unforgettable Czech meal at his lovely flat is memory of Prague that will fill your senses long after you return home. Chef Ondřej brings Prague alive as he educates you to the fine art of Michelin-trained cooking - from using your knife more efficiently to elevating the power of onion and garlic to higher, more sophisticated use. In the end, his guests come away with a deeper appreciation of preparing a meal that satisfies all five senses, while enjoying an extensive musical playlist to which his guests from all over the world add their suggestions. Memorable and incredible experiences

Memorable and incredible experiences. The first part was great market tour - met at Holešovice Food Market. Some fresh ingredients were bought there. The next part was cooking class. Lovely kitchen. Class was taught in English. Chef Ondrej prepared us some food for tasting before the class. He was knowledgeable about foods and patiently showed and explained the skills during the class. The meals were tasty. He connected strangers through cooking. Finally, he gave us cookbook after finished the class. I loved learning traditional Czech food in a funny cooking class. Definitely recommendation.

We had an AMAZING time in...

We had an AMAZING time in this cooking class. We make it a point to try to do a cooking class in every new country we go to, and this was perhaps my favorite one we've done. Ondrej is not only a very skilled and knowledgeable chef, but we had so much fun with him! He's such a warm and funny person, and you can really just tell he loves what he does. The food we made was absolutely delicious to boot. An added bonus was Ondrej's adorable kitten Cassian who kept us company ❤️

Cooking Czech Menu with Chef: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.

How much does Cooking Czech Menu with Chef cost?

+

Prices start at $80 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cooking Czech Menu with Chef take?

+

Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.

Is Cooking Czech Menu with Chef worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 66 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Czech Menu with Chef?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cooking Czech Menu with Chef suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cooking Czech Menu with Chef?

+

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cooking Czech Menu with Chef start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Prague?

+

On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, 3-hour Complete Prague Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Prague?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Prague?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
