Cooking with fresh ingredients felt special
Picking ingredients from the organic farm made the class more enjoyable. The recipes were easy to follow and I can actually cook them again at home. It was relaxed and suitable even for beginners.

Great Satisfaction Activities
It was a great activity to recommend to food lovers (and those who like to eat, not cook) with all their might. After being briefed on the ingredients at the market, We move to a farm about 30 minutes by car, pick herbs and vegetables while strolling around the park to experience the scent and taste, and then start cooking classes in the open kitchen of the farm. The menu consisted of six items: appetizers, rice or noodles, soup, curry paste made from scratch and curry made from it, and dessert. There are 3 or 4 choices for each category, so you can choose your favorite one. I'm quite full because I make and eat and make and eat repeatedly. However, there is a reasonable amount of time between the hotel pick-up and the first item, so you should finish your breakfast lightly. They've done the heavy lifting. The staff will wash the dishes and pans for you, You can really just make it and eat it, there is no trouble at all lol And everything is delicious. The teacher is a professional, including how to explain things in a fun way. He was good at cooking and talking. It's better to know simple English because it's all explained in English, There is nothing difficult about the cooking process, so I think we can manage. I was picked up from the hotel at about 8:30 in the morning and finished around 4:00 in the evening. Some tours can be done in kitchens in the old town without going to the farm, If you don't have time, that might be better.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review. We’re truly delighted to hear that you found this activity so enjoyable and would highly recommend it to both food lovers and those who simply enjoy eating. Thank you as well for sharing helpful tips for future guests regarding timing, breakfast, and language expectations. Your insights are greatly appreciated. We’re very grateful for your recommendation and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Amazing class!
The food we cooked was not only delicious bur enough to feed myself for the entire day. I’m vegetarian and our instructor was so accommodating with teaching me substitutions. The farm itself was gorgeous and we were given time to explore it on our own between cooking. Would highly recommend!!!!
Response from the operator: We are thrilled to know that our culinary experience resonated so well with you. We're overjoyed that our instructor could accommodate and educate on vegetarian alternatives. It's heartening to hear that you found the time to appreciate the beauty of our farm, a serene backdrop to the cooking adventure. Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Oh-Hoo. We are excited at the prospect of creating more memorable adventures for you in the future. Warm regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Why this scores 56
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai cost?
+
Prices start at $1603 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cooking Class with Organic Farm in Chiang Mai start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
