    An Unforgettable Famiky Cooking Experience

Antonella was absolutely fabulous! We were a family of 14, including 8 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 2 to 10, and she did an incredible job engaging everyone. She arrived fully prepared with all the ingredients and supplies, then expertly guided us step by step in making each of the dishes. She was patient, organized, and such a wonderful teacher and chef. The children absolutely loved the experience, and she kept their attention and enthusiasm for more than two hours—which is quite an accomplishment with such a wide age range! It was a truly memorable experience for our entire family. The food was absolutely delicious, and we left with wonderful memories and new cooking skills. We highly recommend Antonella to anyone looking for a fun, interactive, and authentic cooking experience!

Amazing cooking class and private dinner

We had an incredible experience with Antonella. She did both a cooking class and a private dinner for our 14 person family at our rental villa. Antonella was extremely communicative and able to accommodate us. She made sure that the adults and kid all enjoyed themselves and had fun tasks to do during the cooking class. For the private dinner, we didn't have to do a thing - she took care of setting the places and cleaning up. All we had to do was enjoy some delicious food. Highly recommend!

    Such a wonderful experience!

Over the past six years since retirement, I have traveled extensively to many countries with many activities. This was by far one of the best and most wonderful experience I have had. Antonella involved every member of the family, even the young children and it was fun and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful family event.

Cooking with Antonella was like being in a Netflix Movie!!

Cooking with Antonella was the highlight of our two week trip to Italy. We met her at a local market in Florence where we picked out our ingredients for the lunch we would be making together - Gnocchi with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, chicken cacciatore, and olive oil cake. We felt like locals as we stood by her while she chatted with her favorite vendors! There was also a dry good store where Antonella showed us the best dried pasta, olive oil and balsamic vinegar to take home. Once we arrived at her apartment we met her lovely husband, Ricardo, and got to work! We were with our kids, 12 and 14, and she got them started right away on the olive oil cake, from there she taught us how to make gnocchi from scratch, and how to tell when the garlic was the right temperature in the pan. Spoiler alert, it dances! Once the hard work was done, we sat down and enjoyed our lunch. The highlight for my husband was having the chance to talk all things related to the World Cup...he'd been in Italy for over a week and hadn't had the chance to discuss any of the games, he found a kindred spirit in Ricardo. The highlight for me was the wine that Ricardo chose to go with our lunch. We were all so proud of the food we made, it was beyond delicious! Overall, this was a day that surpassed all expectations! Antonella and Ricardo felt like long, lost family. It was a day my family and I will never forgot.

One of the best parts of our trip!

Our time with Antonella exceeded our expectations in every way. She was lovely, her instructions were easy to follow, she brought EVERYTHING with her except for the pots and stove/oven, and the food was delicious. If you have the opportunity to cook with Antonella, do it!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Big hug , Antonella

Cooking class in your holiday rental: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Cooking class in your holiday rental cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cooking class in your holiday rental take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Cooking class in your holiday rental worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking class in your holiday rental?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cooking class in your holiday rental suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cooking class in your holiday rental?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cooking class in your holiday rental start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
