Greta trip if you want to sample real Kogui village without crowds.
Great day trip to Sewiaca Kogui village combined with river tubing back. This was a truly tranquil local village with no tourists and very traditional life (no TVs, children playing outside).
Response from the operator: fue un gusto don andruis! los magico recuerdos que nos dejarons los niños cuando reian y jugaban al lado de las matas de platano. el rio es majestuoso

The highlight of my trip to Colombia!
Colombia is an amazing country and its people are so welcoming and friendly! In this tour we had the opportunity to meet Juan David (our excellent guide) and a Kogui community that kindly hosted us. They welcomed us in their village and showed us around so we learned about their way of living, their culture and we meet the locals and children at school. They cooked a delicious traditional meal with local ingredients and we also had some time to swim in the river. To get to the kogui village we walked in the mountains for about two hours (it was a proper hike, not a “walk in the park”, and it was well worthy) The views and nature surrounding us were impressive and we learnt a lot about herbs and plants (and their practical applications) as our guide Juan David had a wide knowledge about it (as well as about the native communities) After visiting the Kogui village we decided to go for the optional river tubing so we went downriver for about one and a half hours and it was fun (it also saved us from having to hike back for two hours to the starting point, so we would highly recommend this option too) Overall it was a great experience and definitely my highlight of my trip to Colombia
Response from the operator: Hello, greetings! Thank you for your comments and valuable rating. We are glad to know that you had a pleasant and enjoyable experience visiting the beautiful Kogui community and culture.

Absolutely essential, the best plan in the region
My children and I thought it was the best plan of all our vacations on the Coast, absolutely incredible! Walk through the mountains, learn about the medicinal properties of plants from Juan David, get to the Kogi, spend the day with them learning about their culture, receive an energy cleansing, spend the afternoon bathing with the Kogi children in the river after their school day and then tubing down the river through the most incredible landscapes in the area are experiences that we will never forget, thank you very much for this opportunity that far exceeded our expectations.

Is Community kogui 1 day - option tubing. worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santa Marta, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Community kogui 1 day - option tubing.?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Marta can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
