Excellent way to see the city
It was an enjoyable experience riding the E-bike in Prague on a beautiful summer day. Our guide, Michal, is a passionate and knowledgeable historian. He took us to many interesting places in the city and explained to us their historical significance. The tour also includes ticket to the Museum of Communism. We chose to visit the museum on our own after the bike ride. I was surprised how easy it was to ride the E-bike around the city of Prague. And it was very safe to do so with Michal.

Five star experience
5 star experience - we just finished and can only say we strongly recommend this to anyone who truly wants to understand Czech communist (and Nazi) history and connection this extraordinary city to its history. The bikes were in good order and we round through the city as the history was conveyed by our wonderful guide Michal who answered all of our questions patiently and truly understood the nuances and context of the era. Prague came to life for us today!

An experience not to be missed by history buffs
This was an excellent recap of the suffering endured by the Czech people, and their resilience, under the Nazi and Soviet occupations. Michael was fun, energetic and willing to share his knowledge about this serious subject. The E-bike format was also fun and effective in visiting so many of the important WWII sites in Prague. I also appreciated Micheal's patience to allow time for photo addicts like me to take pictures along the way. Take this tour, you'll love it and Michael.

Awesome adventure
Really fun time. Easy access to the shop to meet your guide. Bikes worked great. Tatiana was friendly and knowledgeable guide. She adapted to our interests and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Well worth the time and money.

Fascinating and fun experience!
In-depth exploration of Prague's more contemporary history. The guide, Michal, is passionate about and extremely knowledgeable on the topic, providing exceptional insight on the significance of a variety of sites. And riding the e-bikes was a really fun way to get around and see parts of the city that we may have missed on foot.

Why this scores 71

Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Prague.
How much does Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Prague usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Prague is not rushed.
Is Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Prague, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Prague can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Prague and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Communism and World War 2 Prague City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Prague within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Prague?
+
On Outty we rank every Prague experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best Reviews: Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland Day Trip From Prague, Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland From Prague-Travelers' Choice 2026, Prague Essential Tour Old Town and Jewish Quarter. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Prague?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
