    Heineken is a must in...

Heineken is a must in Amsterdam, really!! We had so much fun. People were lovely and the beer is fantastic. The boat is great too, but we went in July and it was HOT! So don’t forget your hat and your water.

    Heineken Flagship Tour with Roger

We went with my nephew and his future wife and we had a pleasant boat trip through the canals. The absolute highlight was the guide Roger, who was very enthusiastically talking and informative over the history of the Amsterdam canals. He mixed fun facts with serious information and actively asked for questions. He was funny and engaged and with the crowded canals we were lucky to have a good captain Eelco on board. When it began to rain we had umbrellas on board, the views on the city were amazing.

Response from the operator: Dear Pieter, Thank you for the wonderful review. We are so happy to hear that you and your family had such a pleasant canal cruise experience. It is great to know that Roger made the tour special with his enthusiasm, knowledge, and fun stories about Amsterdam’s canals. We will also share your kind words with Captain Eelco. We are glad you enjoyed the views and that the umbrellas helped during the rain. We hope to welcome you again soon. Kind regards

    Canal cruise a highlight

The canal cruise was well worth the add on, and was one of our highlights of Amsterdam. Our guide Jesse was very knowledgable and helpful. He made it a really enjoyable experience. There was also a couple of drinks included (with several choices available). If you are doing the Heineken experience then this add on is a must. Absolute bargain.

    Fun and educational

Very educational and enjoyable even for a non-beer lover! Learned a lot about the history of the family and the brewing industry.

Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise cost?

    +

Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 42 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 232 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise?

    +

Around 81 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Combo Ticket: Heineken Experience Amsterdam and 1h Canal Cruise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
