What you'll see and do

  1. Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge Grand Canyon Scenic Area features a 536-meter-long glass bridge, known as the "Cloud Sky Walk," spanning dramatically across the canyon. On sunny days, the bridge reflects the blue sky and white clouds, creating a surreal sensation of walking in the air. On cloudy or rainy days, the bridge emerges intermittently through the mist—look down, and you might see only fog or a breathtaking drop to the canyon floor! It’s an exhilarating experience. The most stunning view is from the opposite end of the bridge, where it appears half-hidden in the clouds, leaving visitors in awe. Below the bridge lies the 3.5-kilometer-long canyon, shaded by lush greenery and accompanied by a murmuring stream—a perfect place for a tranquil nature walk. To descend from the bridge to the canyon, you can either walk or choose from exciting transport options like zip lines, slides, or boats (additional fees apply). Select based on your preference and sense of adventure!

How many days do you need in Zhangjiajie?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
