An Unforgettable 70th Birthday Celebration in the Algarve
Max created a spectacular experience for my mother’s 70th birthday! From the start, he was extremely communicative and even sent my mom a beautiful message announcing the boat tour we had arranged for her special day. He then went above and beyond to make the experience truly memorable, arranging a private boat tour with delicious snacks and soft drinks, as well as wine and a birthday cake to celebrate the occasion. To top it all off, Max captured wonderful photos and videos throughout the trip and shared them with both me and my mother, giving us memories we can cherish for years to come. I highly recommend Max to anyone looking for a fabulous, personalized experience in the Algarve!

A wonderful private boat tour from Lagos
A Wonderful Private Boat Tour from Lagos! We had an amazing 3-hour private boat tour with Algarve on Board, departing from Lagos, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to the Algarve. Our skipper, Max, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire trip. As we cruised along the beautiful Algarve coastline, he explained the sights and made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. A lovely picnic basket with snacks and drinks was provided, and Max also took pictures of us, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy the spectacular scenery. What made the experience even more memorable was the personal touch. I was celebrating my 70th birthday, and Max surprised me with a birthday cake and played and sang “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful gesture and made an already beautiful day even more special. If you’re visiting Lagos and looking for a private boat experience that feels personal rather than rushed or crowded, I highly recommend Algarve on Board. The beautiful coastline, personalized attention, refreshments, and Max’s warm personality made the three hours fly by. Max also suggested a wonderful place in Alvor to have dinner that night. Best day of our entire trip!
We had an amazing day with Max last week. He took us to see so many gorgeous caves where he took great pictures of our family. Along the way, he pointed out landmarks and explained how the caves were created. After the caves, he took us to a beautiful calm estuary where we enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch that Max prepared with our dietary restrictions in mind and we got to swim and SUP. We all really enjoyed getting to know Max and my kids loved going speedboating at the end of the tour. Max also gave us recommendations for restaurants and other places to visit that we never would have found on our own, which made the rest of our time in the Algarve even better. We all agree that our day with Max was the highlight of our entire trip to Portugal!

Amazing!!
Nitika and max were amazing tour guides and hosts! They made this tour the best day in Portugal for us. The boat was a perfect size to be able to explore and see the beautiful caves and they even have a paddle board you can go on to get into the smaller areas to see. Both max and nitika have a lot of fun knowledge about the area and make sure you see all there is to see on this tour. They also take ton of pictures for you! While we went to explore on the paddle board we came back to a wonderful spread of fresh food and wine! Then we were able to listen to music and jump in the water. Max even has a fresh water shower on the back of the boat you can wash off with. The scenery and views are absolutely breathtaking but truly Max and Nitika made the day! They are both so unbelievably sweet, friendly and personable. They were also absolutely wonderful with my 8 year old daughter. It was her birthday right after our trip and they even brought out a candle/ cupcake with a happy song playing over the speakers! This is absolutely the only way to explore the Algarves!
