Colorado float trip with wilderness adventures and arizona travel is a must do for your arizona vacation

The colorado float trip in Glen Canyon was absolutely amazing. We stayed in sedona, also went to the grand canyon. The transportation was provided by arizona travel. I've been in the tourist business a long time having gone both a whitewater rafting, business and currently still a bike tour business on Maui Our guide steviee. He is top notch goes out of his way to accommodate his customers. Pay him well and take care of him.Otherwise, i'm going to take him away and hire him myself

Response from the operator: Dear Float Trip Guest:...Thank you for the 5 stars. This is really a fun summer trip and we are happy to be one of the few companies to offer this. Stevee is a great guide who receives great compensation and is an adored member of our team having been with us for almost 20 years.

    Beautiful trip!

This was the most beautiful thing that we did on our Arizona trip! It's a calm raft ride down the river and back. The scenery of the canyon walls was something else up close, it left us in awe. Each guide does things differently, but our raft guide, Frank, took our pictures for us, told us Navajo stories and real historical stories, would make stops to point out different features and teach us some geology as well. The river was cold! However, the ride was hot! Be prepared for that. They made a stop for us to eat lunch, use the restroom and see some old petroglyphs. It was definitely worth it!

    Disappointed

Going down Glenn Canyon after experiencing the Grand Canyon is like having to stay home while everyone else went to the Super Bowl

Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Page.

How much does Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona cost?

    +

Prices start at $372 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Page usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Page is not rushed.

Is Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Page, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Page can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Page and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Colorado River Smooth Water Float Trip and Horseshoe Bend from Sedona start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Page within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Page?

    +

Page exists for two icons: guided Antelope Canyon slot tours, which are the only legal way in, and Horseshoe Bend overlooks, plus Lake Powell boat trips and Colorado River float runs. On Outty we rank every Page experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour, Navajo Dinner Theater, Hoop Dancing, and Native Storytelling, Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend Overlook. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Page?

    +

March to May and September to October; midday canyon slots are best for light beams. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Page?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
