Beautiful day
Very nice and kind guide. Good and clear explanations! The knowledge of my guide was also very useful!

So much fun in 1 full day!
Fantastic experience! The condors and hot springs in particular were amazing. Our tour guide Zenaida explained so much about the Wari and Tihuanaco people and was very helpful. Definitely recommended if you want to see beautiful scenery and learn more about the incredible indigenous history of the area.

Cocla expectacular
Now this was a long drive but the view of the canyon was amazing. You had two options in the canyon a short 45 minute hike to the viewing area or a drive to the viewing area. My family and opted to split up. The hike along the canyon side was stunning. You could see the nests and a few flying as we walked. The national park was small the alpaca and llamas are wild there but are not interested in the tourists and run away. The hot springs my son said was wonderful. My husband and I opted to do another activity not covered in the tour.

A Perfect Day in Colca Canyon
An excellent tour and an outstanding guide! Paola put a tremendous amount of effort into making this day as memorable as possible. Throughout the tour, she shared a wealth of information about the local wildlife, explaining the differences between many animal species and helping us better understand the region. What impressed me most was her dedication to the group. She guided the tour in two languages, clearly explained the itinerary, and provided helpful advice for dealing with the high altitude, especially since the tour reaches nearly 5,000 meters above sea level. The timing of the tour was perfect. Thanks to the excellent organization, we had the opportunity to see the magnificent condors in flight, which was one of the highlights of the day. Paola actively approached people in the group, pointed out where to look, and helped everyone spot the wildlife and enjoy the experience. Even though the weather was not ideal during part of the tour, we were kept informed and introduced to alternative attractions, ensuring the day remained enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour, and special thanks to Paola for her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for the group.

The tour price is very...
The tour price is very attractive, but you get what you pay for: 1. The description states that the group size is a maximum of 18 people, but in reality there were over 25 people on the tour. 2. The tour is much longer than advertised. It was described as 13+ hours, but actually lasted over 15 hours. We started at 3:00 a.m. and only arrived back in Arequipa around 5:00 p.m. 3. Breakfast and lunch were included, and both were very good. 4. As English-speaking tourists, we had difficulty understanding the tour guide’s explanations.

Colca Full Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Arequipa.
How much does Colca Full Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $38 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Arequipa usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Colca Full Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Arequipa is not rushed.
Is Colca Full Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 449 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Arequipa, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Colca Full Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Colca Full Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Colca Full Day Tour?
+
Around 157 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Arequipa can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Arequipa and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Colca Full Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Arequipa within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Arequipa?
+
On Outty we rank every Arequipa experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Arequipa Rafting on the Chili river free pick-up,snack., 2 Day 1 Night Trek Colca Canyon, Chili River White Water Rafting Adventure with Pickup. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Arequipa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Arequipa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Colca Full Day Tour?
+
Included: Breakfast; In-vehicle air conditioning; Lunch; and Guide. Not included: National Park Entrance (70 soles per person); Hot Springs Entrance (15 soles per person,); and Gratuities. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
