Such a fun experience !...

Such a fun experience ! Deedy and Peter are very sweet. Peter will take you the first time up the falls and show you some ways to bypass the crowds. Not for very young or any mobility impaired. Lots of stairs to get to the bottom of the falls but well worth it! The water is lovely and it is exhilarating to climb the falls. Highly recommend water shoes. Go as early as possible! It gets crowded quickly (people will literally stop in the middle of a waterfall holding up others to take the perfect photo). It is at least an hour from Chiang Mai old city. There was no specification on the vehicle- I recommend opting for an outfit w a van if you are more than 2 pax. This was a 3 row mini suv that was somewhat tight and stuffy(we were 4pax).

Beautiful

What an amazing place! The waterfalls were absolutely fantastic and, to our surprise, they weren’t slippery at all. We are aged 62 and 63, and we found the climb really easy to manage. We did spot a snake on the way, although we’re not sure if it was poisonous or not! 🐍 The journey there and back was great. On our return, we weren’t quite at the official pickup point, so we asked the driver if he could drop us back at our hotel. As we were only just outside the pickup area, he was more than happy to help. He was an amazing driver and his kindness really made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful trip that we would highly recommend to anyone, whatever their age.

Waterfall climb is an "eye-opening"

Located about 40 minutes from the old city, this waterfall climb is an "eye-opening" and highly enjoyable experience. Here are the key takeaways for your visit: Logistics & Timing Best Arrival Time: Aim for 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Arriving early helps you avoid the crowds and ensures better photos. Transport: The journey is roughly 40 minutes; English-speaking drivers (like the friendly Ms. Deedy) are available for the trip. The Climb The Experience: You can literally walk up the waterfall. There are multiple routes available, with ropes provided to assist on steeper slopes. Safety Tip: Avoid areas with green algae, as they are very slippery. Essential Gear Footwear: Bring water shoes or sandals you don’t mind getting wet. The underwater sand and rocks are sharp, making it painful to climb barefoot.

Wonderful Tour

This was a really great, private, half-day tour! Peter and Deedi picked us up at our hotel and drove us in a clean, modern, air-conditioned car to the falls. We had a wonderful tour where Peter took lots of pictures of us. After the falls we stopped at an authentic Thai spot for lunch (food was wonderful) before they delivered us back to our hotel. They were both very nice, lovely people and we really enjoyed our afternoon with them.

This is such a unique...

This is such a unique natural attraction. It’s a great experience since it’s only an hour away from Chiang Mai and you get to see a little part of the city’s natural beauty. Our guide, Purichat, was also amazing and very fun and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!!

Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.

How much does Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman cost?

+

Prices start at $1000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.

Is Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman?

+

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Climb Sticky Waterfall Like a Spiderman start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?

+

On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
