Amazing trip with Niall
We really enjoyed our travels with Best of Ireland Tours. Our guide Niall thoughtfully planned out our week of travel with the best recommendations for sites and restaurants. He knew about experiences that we would not have found on our own. We really appreciated that he was always on time, very friendly, shared the inside scoop on all of the stops, and accommodated our special requests and interests. We definitely recommend a trip with Naill and Best of Ireland Tours!
Response from the operator: Thank you Lilly for the lovely review, I had a great time travelling with your family and showing off some beautiful gems in Ireland.

Wonderful tour guide
Niall Cleary at Best of Ireland Tours, is a wonderful tour guide! Our family toured Ireland with him for nearly a week, and we feel lucky to have found him. Niall is very knowledgeable and is happy to explain Irish customs, history, geography and just interesting facts that make your trip a richer experience. He's especially kind and considerate of his clients. He takes good care of you and knows every good place to eat lunch, grab a snack or use the restroom in Ireland! He’s also lots of fun and a delightful traveling companion - just talking and laughing with him as we rode in the van was one of the highlights of our trip. Niall’s planning process is thorough, with several pre-trip phone calls and good email communication. We gave him a very general idea of some places that we wanted to see, and from that he crafted an excellent detailed itinerary. He’s flexible and will make sure you see what you want to. He’s good at balancing the longer, busier days with occasional little breaks here and there so that you don’t feel over-scheduled. He’s also a responsible and reassuring driver. Highly recommend. Niall made our trip so great in so many ways, big and small, and we honestly feel as if we have a friend in Ireland now!
Response from the operator: Thank you Elizabeth for the very positive review, I loved touring with your family, it was a great tour with many belly laughs and we shared some treats.

Wonderful private tour by Best of Ireland.
After ten years of researching our family's ancestry in Ireland we connected with Best of Ireland Tours. Niall Cleary met us at the airport and watched over our needs for the week of June 10-16, He took us all over Counties Claire, Cork, Tipperary, and Limerick. He found every location we were seeking to see. Very highly recommend Niall and his company. They will make your dream trip come true. He knows every town and a million stories of ireland that will make your trip complete. Thanks Niall.
Response from the operator: Thank you Donald for the great review, we loved travelling with your family and finding your ancestral home.

Best of Ireland Tours is THE BEST!
Niall with Best of Ireland Tours was the private driver/guide for our group of 5 while in Galway. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. His love of his country and knowledge of regional facts and local lord is evident in every piece of information he shares. Contact Best of Ireland tours for a customizable, safe and informative tour. He will make suggestions of sites to visit and happily accommodate your interests, even a stop at a local supermarket🙂.

Incredible experience with Niall.
Niall Cleary took us around for 7 days visiting Dublin, Galway, Cork, Waterford, Dunmore East and Tramore. Each trip was filled with incredible knowledge about the local history and unique sites to see that made the trip one of a kind. Such highlight included Sheepdog herding in Connemara , the Ballymaloe Cookery School and Gardens, the Galway Foodie Tour (see separate review) in addition to the standards. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Ireland experience and would not hesitate to engage Niall again on future visits to Ireland. Niall is knowledgeable and funny. We had as much fun traveling from site to site as we did visiting all of the attractions.
Response from the operator: Thank you Sandra for the lovely review, it was great to tour with you and your husband. I was delighted to organise a private tour at Ballymaloe because you loved flowers and gardening.

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $1890 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty Castle Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
