Better than expected
Definitely worth the time, experience and money. We had more fun than expected while learning about Cleveland and site seeing. A very easy way to see Cleveland and have a drink at the same time. There was intermittent DJ music throughout the trip. We would definitely do it again.

Funny Bus Exceeds Expectations
Great time. Dean made it extremely easy for us to book a large group that had several changes along the way. For a memorable birthday celebration. The bus was clean and DJ our comedian was great. Highly recommended especially if you are not from Cleveland as the tour gives very interesting facts about our great City. Thanks Cleveland Funny Bus!!

Dosappointed
Nice view of Cleveland and a comedian to go with it. Our experience on Saturday at 6:00 was ruined by a drunk woman who would not be quiet and comedian couldn’t control her. Ruined the fun of trip
Response from the operator: I am sorry that you had to deal with an unruly guest and it affected your experience. As I am sure you are aware, we have little control over the actions of other guests. Comedians are trained to deal with hecklers, and we do limit the type of alcohol that can be brought on the bus, but in the end, an obnoxious guest is just a nuisance to everyone. We are glad that you were able to enjoy part of the experience and politely ask that you reconsider your review. Giving a small business owner a 1-star review because of something out of their control serves no purpose other than to damage the business and our good reputation, which I am sure is not your intent. If you could base your review on the merits of the Funny Bus alone.

No cancellation policy unethical
Their no cancellation policy is absolute money grab. Total BS. Booked for the wrong date, a week later and they don't want to listen. Terrible, much like delta and American.
Response from the operator: It is not unethical to follow policies that are clearly listed and outlined. When you purchased your tickets for the Funny Bus through Travelocity/Viator, you were notified twice of our policy. If you do not like that policy, do not purchase tickets. Its that simple. Our policy is the same as the vast majority of limited seating entertainment venues. Sporting events, theatre productions, etc. all the same. Moreover, you did not even contact our office to discuss this sitution! With enough advance notice, we are usually willing to work with people who have unusual circumstances, but you did not contact us. I know this because i am the only one who answers phones here.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cleveland Comedy City Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cleveland.
How much does Cleveland Comedy City Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cleveland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cleveland Comedy City Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cleveland is not rushed.
Is Cleveland Comedy City Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cleveland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cleveland Comedy City Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Cleveland Comedy City Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cleveland Comedy City Tour?
+
Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cleveland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cleveland and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cleveland Comedy City Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cleveland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cleveland?
+
Cleveland tours cover the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, West Side Market food walks, lakefront cruises, brewery crawls in Ohio City and short runs to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. On Outty we rank every Cleveland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include West Side Market & Ohio City Neighborhood Food Tour of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Valley National Park Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Admission in Cleveland. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cleveland?
+
May to October. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cleveland?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
