1. Welcome to Kishi Station in Wakayama, home to the world-famous "feline stationmaster"! Since 2007, the calico cat Tama was officially appointed as stationmaster, and her adorable image—wearing a stationmaster's cap and "attending duty"—quickly captivated Japan, becoming a beloved mascot that saved the local railway. Today, the third-generation stationmaster, Nitama, continues this heartwarming mission, greeting visitors daily at her station "office."
