Brilliant family fun rafting

What an amazing experience. We went on the family rafting session. Brilliant fun. We were a family of six, our youngest member was seven years old, and all four of the children absolutely loved the experience, as did we. It was well suited in terms of level of excitement/risk versus safety. Very accelerating, a knowledgeable and reassuring guide, and we highly recommend this activity for thrillseeking fun families.

Yes, yes, yes! Great time!

We had a great time on this trip. Very chill so I am sure some would want more but we loved it. Our guide, Jess, was wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful. Our kids love it. Ages 10, 13,15. We added on a round trip from city center to Voss Active. Easy! They provide everything. Bring a bathing suit and towel. They have lockers for bags.

What a day!

A truly fantastic experience from beginning to end, with excellent service and a very friendly, professional and helpful team who provided us with all the equipment we needed and made sure that everything was properly prepared before we started. Before beginning the activity, we received a very clear and comprehensive briefing covering safety, the correct use of the equipment and the best practices to follow during the adventure, which made us feel comfortable and safe while still allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. The activity itself was great fun, very well organised and exciting throughout, with the perfect combination of adventure, nature and a little adrenaline, making it one of those experiences that you will remember for a long time. There is also the opportunity to swim during the activity, although I have to admit that, even wearing the wetsuit they provided, the water was still a little too cold for me! Overall, it was a wonderful and unforgettable adventure, with excellent organisation, great staff and everything needed to enjoy the experience safely. Highly recommended

Great experience

Great experience, a highlight of our trip. Children over 12 can ride in a raft with two people. Then there will be a little more action. Fun even for 16 year olds. Younger can ride with a bigger raft.

Please ask about the age participants during the booking.

This rafting for children, not for adults. I think that it should be said somewhere that it’s only for beginners. In some countries level 2 can be more complicated. This one is looks like level 1. Nature was nice.

Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bergen.

How much does Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss cost?

+

Prices start at $1120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bergen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bergen is not rushed.

Is Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bergen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bergen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bergen and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Class 2 Family Rafting in Voss start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bergen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bergen?

+

On Outty we rank every Bergen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Walking Tour in Bergen of the Past and Present, Guided Tour To Nærøyfjorden, Flåm & Stegastein - incl. 2h cruise, Discover Bergen on Foot and Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bergen?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bergen?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
