Overall it was a great experience. One adjustment, give time for more photo moments at the random location long the route.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate the suggestion about more photo moments along the way. We will keep that in mind!

Nice tour with a bad stop.

The tour guide deserved 5 stars, tour was interesting and he was entertaining. Venice beach should be removed from the tour immediately. It's a cloud of weed smoke, but other drug use is prevalent out in the open. It was a bad ending to a nice day.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We appreciate your input concerning Venice Beach. It is one of the most disputed part of our tour. Some people love seeing the mid-way atmosphere and all that includes. Others will not disembark from the bus out of concern for safety. We have over the years removed it from the tour only to receive complaints and requests to reinstate it. We do assure all of our guests that their safety and security are our number one priority and we stress that with our guests. If a guest is uncomfortable concerning any part of the tour, we hope they will let us know so that we can take whatever action that may be needed to calm that concern. Most commonly, the resolution is remaining on the bus with the driver/guide while the others on the tour visit the attraction causing that individual concern.

    Fantastic tour

Our driver was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the whole area. There were a few stops throughout the day that allow us to take photos, lunch breaks, etc. I highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your most welcome comments and recommendation. We hope to have an opportunity to serve you again in the not too distant future.

    Great Los Angeles Tour

Our tour guide was the best. Considering we had Spanish speaking people he was bilingual and included them in the tour so they didn't feel left out. I would highly recommend to someone who is visiting for the first time.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. Although our tours are primarily in English, whenever possible we like to accommodate guest needs. Thanks again for you endorsement.

City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Monica.

How much does City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo cost?

    +

Prices start at $122 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Monica usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Monica is not rushed.

Is City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santa Monica, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Monica can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Monica and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City Tour of Los Angeles from Torrance and El Segundo start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Monica within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santa Monica?

    +

Santa Monica is where most LA coast tours start: beach bike and e-bike rides to Venice, surf lessons, food walks on Third Street and open-top runs up Pacific Coast Highway. On Outty we rank every Santa Monica experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Los Angeles Guided City Tour with 4 Stops and Free Time, Half Day Best of Los Angeles City Tour from Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Celebrity Homes Tour by Open Air Bus. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santa Monica?

    +

March to May and September to November, dodging the June marine layer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santa Monica?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
