Worn-Out Chiva, Disorganized Start
⭐⭐☆☆☆ The biggest disappointment was the condition of the Chiva bus itself. It was extremely worn down and in need of maintenance. The seats were very uncomfortable for the length of the tour, several parts of the bus didn’t appear to be securely fastened, and there were exposed sharp metal edges in a few places. It gave the impression that the bus had not been well maintained. Communication at the beginning of the tour was also frustrating. Before the bilingual tour guide boarded about 15 minutes into the tour, there was very little direction, which created confusion about what was happening and what to expect. Once the guide got on the bus, however, he did a good job communicating in both English and Spanish, so my criticism is directed more at the company’s organization than at the guide himself. Cartagena is a beautiful city, but the poor condition of the bus and the disorganized start took away from the overall experience. Updating the buses and improving communication before the tour begins would make a big difference.

Unique and Relaxing Introduction to Cartagena
It was good overall, but we waited around 20 minutes before departure. The team explained the delay, so no big deal. The rest of the day was great. Cholon is crazy! Loud music, boats everywhere. It’s not for everyone but if you’re into party vibes, you’ll love it. The staff kept everything under control. Smooth experience from booking to the end of the trip. Communication was fast on WhatsApp. They even sent us a reminder the night before. Great views and good people on board. Maybe bring your own snacks, there wasn’t much offered. But otherwise very enjoyable.
