Arab Mosque: Opened on March 23, 1983, the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque - considered one of the most upright and pious men in Muslim history - has 1,248 m2 and an oval room of approximately 580 m2 for prayers and two towers 31 meters high. Its orientation is given by the Mihrab, made on the back wall and indicative of the direction of the holy city of Mecca, where the praying Muslim turns. The city of Foz do Iguaçu is home to more than 12,000 immigrants, being considered the second largest Arab community in Brazil, behind São Paulo.

Knowing the city's history is always very valid for us. The city tour takes place on a 2-story open bus. Including access to the 2nd largest mosque in Brazil, a visit to the Church of the Three Borders, and the Buddhist temple. A very cool story to know.

I did all the tours with MMC tourism, and they were fantastic! Indicate closed eyes!! Karla was the vendor who referred me and booked the tours, simply wonderful. With WhatsApp we close everything in a safe and easy way! The vans came to pick us up at the hotel Wish Foz do Iguaçu, which is also delicious. My trip with my son was unforgettable. The impervious Sāo waterfalls (do both sides / Argentina and Brazil) are well worth it. And the Macuco Safari boat ride an excitement apart!!! Finally, everything perfect!😍❤️ We made Itaipu, landmark of the 3 borders, and shopping in Paraguay too! Ufa!! 😅 we took great advantage!!!

Our tour guide was...
Our tour guide was Marcus. The tour was everything we could have hoped for. Marcus picked us up at our hotel. He was timely, he spoke English and was very knowledgeable. We visited the Mosque where we they provided us with the proper apparel to wear, the Catholic Cathedral and the Buddist Temple. We were able to leave our backpack in the van. We would highly recommend this tour with Marcus.
