- Boat Tour: Departs hourly from 11am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday from Escalera Real. Ticket includes a small bottle of water. Too long a wait when Cruise Ship is in port. Had to wait for over one hour before could get ticket to get on the bus.

Skip this tour & save your money
We purchased tickets in advance for the City Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off Bus in Palma de Mallorca, and the entire experience was frustrating, disorganized, and a complete waste of our time and money. Upon getting off our cruise ship, we were told they would not print our prepaid tickets until the bus arrived. Meanwhile, the line was already 45 minutes long! What is the point of purchasing tickets in advance if you still have to stand in an enormous line just to get them printed? It only got worse from there. The buses were completely full at every stop. We actually paid for a taxi to take us to the next stop, hoping to improve our chances of getting on. Instead, we watched TWO buses arrive, both completely full, with ZERO available seats. When we finally managed to board a bus, the only seats available were at the very back, facing backward, with virtually no visibility. So much for sightseeing! The actual tour was equally disappointing. The highlighted sights were underwhelming, and the audio commentary provided very little useful information about what we were supposedly seeing. Most of the time, we were subjected to what sounded like elevator music rather than an informative tour. This company is clearly selling more tickets than its buses can reasonably accommodate. The result is long waits, overcrowded buses, frustrated tourists, and a miserable sightseeing experience. We have taken sightseeing bus tours in other cities, and this was by far one of the worst experiences. My advice: SKIP THIS TOUR! Save your money, take a taxi, and explore Palma de Mallorca on your own. You’ll likely see more, learn just as much, and avoid wasting precious vacation time standing in lines waiting for buses that have no room for you. Absolutely not worth the money, especially for cruise passengers with limited time in port.

Well designed route, and the buses move quickly. They also feel more frequent than the 30-minute interval in the description. Get the app with live status of each bus (although the time to the next bus for each stop cannot be trusted).

Needs maintenance and more detail.
We were very disappointed with this excursion. Many outlets on the listening devices were not working so we missed lots of narration. The narration itself (English) was very difficult to understand and very sparse. I’m sure that Mallorca has much more to offer than one sentence here and there. We were on at least 4 busses and none of them worked correctly.
