Viator had better rates than the Mallorca Hop-on website.
As expected for a hop on/off bus. Our cruise was not in port for long, so we just stayed on the bus. Many of the headphone ports did not work on our bus - static/fuzzy background noise.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience Valerie! We’re pleased to hear that the City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off tour suited your visit, especially with the limited time available during your cruise stop. Staying on board can be a great way to discover the main sights of Palma when time is short. We’re sorry, however, about the issues you experienced with the headphone ports and the static or fuzzy background noise. We understand how important the audio commentary is for making the most of a sightseeing tour, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We hope you enjoyed discovering Palma from the City Sightseeing bus and that we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you again on a future visit!

We do hop on hop off...
We do hop on hop off buses every European country we go to, and this was the most disappointing experience. We spent an hour traveling to the meeting point destination only to find out we couldn’t view the city map to find out where the stops were and after a couple of hours of wandering the city of Palma we gave up and just went back to our hotel. We tried to get a refund, but did not receive feedback on that.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback James. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca did not meet your expectations, especially after taking the time to travel to the departure point. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have difficulties accessing the city map and locating the bus stops. Having clear information about the route and stops is essential to making the most of a hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour, and we regret that this affected your visit to Palma. We’re also sorry to hear that you did not receive a response regarding your refund request. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve both the sightseeing experience and our customer service. We hope you will consider giving City Sightseeing another opportunity on a future visit.

Good tour
Good way to hit all the important spots in a short period of time. The upstairs deck is pleasant and had a sun cover which we appreciated. The highlight for me was the Cathedral and surrounding areas. So if you want to save some time/money you could just visit that using a local bus. But the tours was worth it and met expectations.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review Paulo! We’re delighted to hear that you found City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca a convenient way to visit the city’s main highlights in a limited amount of time. We’re especially pleased that you enjoyed the upper deck and appreciated the sun cover, making the journey more comfortable while sightseeing. The Cathedral and its surrounding area are certainly among the highlights of Palma, and we’re glad they were the highlight of your visit! It’s wonderful to know that the tour met your expectations and that you felt it was worth it. We hope to welcome you back to Palma de Mallorca soon!

Horrible experience
Absolute worst hop on hop off experience ever! I have ridden on hop on hop off sightseeing buses throughout the world. The service provided in Palma on 8/3/26 was atrocious. Bus stop signs were not where the map indicated in multiple locations. Walked in all directions where the map indicated the stop and never found the bus stop. Many stops were skipped by the bus driver or the stop was so quick there was no opportunity to get off the bus. One of the sites was closed and the bus driver did nothing to notify people getting off.
Response from the operator: Dear Dawn, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca experience on 3rd August 2026 fell so far below your expectations, especially as you have used hop-on hop-off sightseeing services in many cities around the world. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have difficulty locating several bus stops, particularly when the physical signage did not appear to match the map. We also regret your experience regarding stops being skipped or the time available to get off the bus, as this understandably affected your ability to plan your sightseeing around Palma de Mallorca. We’re equally sorry that you were not informed that one of the attractions was closed. Clear and timely information is essential to providing a good hop-on hop-off experience, and we appreciate you highlighting this. We have taken note of your comments and will share them with our local team so that these aspects of the service can be reviewed. Your feedback is particularly valuable in helping us improve the information provided to our passengers and the overall City Sightseeing Palma experience. We’re sorry that we did not provide the experience you expected, and we hope we can have the opportunity to offer you a much better sightseeing experience in Palma in the future.

Why this scores 58
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $32 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 708 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour?
+
Around 248 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does City Sightseeing Palma de Mallorca Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
