City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv
The day trip started and ended on time. Everything was well organized! Danny Gerson was our tour guide and he was outstanding. I would gladly book a trip again, knowing he will be in charge. Danny is a great historian and he made sure everyone could see and hear all the details in regards to the tour. I would highly recommend him and the Bein Harim Israel Tours.

Amazing Experience
This was a totally action packed tour. I am amazed at all we were able to see in a day. It was a very hot day and the tour guide was aware of his guests and made sure we were okay and hydrated. My fit bit said we walked 5 miles. I am 66 and my husband is 71 and we did fine but were challenged at times. The tour covers both the City of David ruins / excavation site outside the walls of the old city and then the tour continues into Old Jerusalem. Our Guide Daniel, was very knowledgable and shared so much information. The underground tunnels were amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your amazing review! We're thrilled to hear that you had an action-packed tour and were able to see so much in a day. It's great to know that our tour guide, Daniel, was attentive to your needs, especially considering the hot weather, and provided valuable information throughout the tour. We appreciate your recommendation and are glad to hear that the underground tunnels were particularly amazing.

Very good tour and guide
Our guide Roy was great. The tour was good too we had fun and enjoyed our time in Jerusalem. The only thing is the 2 transfers in the morning to get to our final bus but it wasn't too bad.
Response from the operator: We are pleased to hear that you had a great experience with our guide, Roy. It's wonderful to know that you had fun and enjoyed your time exploring the city. We appreciate your understanding regarding the two transfers in the morning, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I had a wonderful tour- thanks to Dorit Epstein!
I joined this as part of my 3 day tour and loved it. Dorit Epstein was my guide and she's really good. It helps that she was a teacher so she remembered everyone's name. I'm also grateful that she walked me to my hotel doorstep, making sure that my luggage arrives at the hotel too. 5 star for her domain knowledge and outstanding service

City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tel Aviv.
How much does City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tel Aviv usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tel Aviv is not rushed.
Is City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tel Aviv, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tel Aviv can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tel Aviv and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does City of David and Underground Jerusalem Day Trip from Tel Aviv start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tel Aviv within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tel Aviv?
+
On Outty we rank every Tel Aviv experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Carmel Market Tasting Tour - LocaLocal, Guided Pub Crawl Night Tour at Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Street Art & Graffiti Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tel Aviv?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tel Aviv?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
