    Awsome

The experience was good, it was a little bit costly and the length of visit was short. Th atmosphere was great, crowd size very good, the staffs were very helpful and attentif. The DJ was great and played very nice music. The best part was the food and dancing

Response from the operator: It’s always great hearing from our guests, and we thank you for taking the time to review our experience. It was a pleasure hosting you & we hope to see you again soon.

    Stay Away. Horrible.

Do Not Go. I'm food services manager so I am giving good advice. The buffett served the absolute worst food I have eaten in the last 25 years. How bad? Take the worst hospital food and knock it down 3 notches. Overcooked vegetables ( khaki green broccoli) pasta stuffed somehow but unrecognizable, desserts, I could not identify the cake except it was gray. I've purchased wholesale for Universities and there is a range of options of quality and City Cruises bought the bottom of the barrel quality while charging over 150.00! The owners should be arrested for criminal negligence. You can say I'm just a poor sport or mean spirited. That is your right, but don't say you weren't warned.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your dining experience did not meet expectations. Food quality is important to us, and we will be reviewing your comments with our team to address the concerns you raised. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    Most fun on a cruise

Boat, food. Crew, waiters were fabulous. The boat is like walking into 5 star resturant. Many people were dressed up but we were in casual close and felt comfortable. Wide section of food from eggs to prime rib.. at least 20 different delicious desserts. As soon as your seated the mimosas are poured. The views are beautiful of DC to Georgetown. Then DJ starts and the dancing started. There were many groups there for celebrations. Ask for Maurice he was the best waiter, always there with a smile and champion bottle.

Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the food, views, and welcoming atmosphere aboard. It’s great to hear the DJ, dancing, and service all made your experience memorable—especially with Maurice. We appreciate you celebrating with us and hope to see you again soon!

    Great Views.

The experience was wonderful. The food variety was great. Entertainment at the time was okay. The admission fee was not bad at all. I wished that the length of visit or ride was a little longer. Atmosphere was fine, unfortunately they cannot control who books their events. The experience overall was good.

    Sunset river cruise

Booked this cruise as the highlight of our visit to Washington. Totally disappointed, no atmosphere, the dining area had a dividing wall to stop us from seeing the other side of the river and, more importantly, the "Sunset." Drink service was appalling, so I ended up going to the bar ourselves. The AC was set on freezing cold. Food, the main course, was served 1 hr 20 mins after the starter, and the main was cold. We did complain to the management on the boat to no avail. The 4 people in our party moved to the bar to get a better atmosphere and feel part of the cruise. People were still being service food when the boat docked. A total disappointing evening.

Response from the operator: Hello Stephens, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. We’re disappointed to hear you were not satisfied with your recent visit and to understand the situation better, we’d like to have a team member personally connect with you. At your convenience, please contact us at 800-459-8105 or chat with us on https://www.cityexperiences.com/. Thank you again for your time.

City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Washington DC.

How much does City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise cost?

    +

Prices start at $96 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Washington DC usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Washington DC is not rushed.

Is City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Washington DC, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Washington DC can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Washington DC and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City Cruises Washington DC: Signature Mimosa Brunch Cruise start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Washington DC within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Washington DC?

    +

Washington is the rare city where the headline attractions cost nothing and the scarce resource is access. Timed entry to the Smithsonian museums, Capitol and White House tours, and the night monument runs by bike or bus are what fill up. Our ranking rewards operators who secure the passes themselves rather than telling you to sort it out at the door. On Outty we rank every Washington DC experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Washington DC Small-Group Sightseeing Experience, Washington DC "See the City" Guided Sightseeing Segway Tour, Arlington Cemetery Small-Group Tour & Changing of the Guards. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Washington DC?

    +

Late March to April for cherry blossom, or September to November for cool museum weather. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Washington DC?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
