Bike tour of city and gardens

Great views in the garden and good stop at the Chinese tower. Was a little congested in the city part with the large group but the tour info given by Corby was fantastic!

    Perfect adventure in Munich⭐️

First things first, our guide Corbin (Corby), was really great. So friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to impart lots of historical information about the many sights we saw on our extensive ride of Munich Center and surrounding areas. The English Garden portion of the tour was my favorite- so beautiful. This tour was a perfect way to get a feel for the City of Munich. Plus the bikes we rode were first rate, comfortable, manageable and in excellent working order. Take this tour if you get a chance. 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Too slow, not much biking.

Sorry to say whe did not enjoy our bike tour. A waist of time. The group of 24 people was far too big. Very nice people to meet, from different countries, mostly Dutch, all in town for the Adele concert. Peter, our nice Austrialian guide, a very lovely old man, but not qualified for a bike tour. Give him a walking tour with max. 10 people, who want lots of history information and you will be fine and enjoy it. Not a bike tour. It already took about 45 minutes to get to the bikes, because he was talking too long about the environment and when we got on them, everybody was amazed how slow it was going. The whole tour was not far, and whe already walked most of it before. We wanted a bike tour to see more, instead we saw what we could have walked easily. At the lovely park, all 24 bikes had too be locked with one big lock, to get a drink or a lunch. We easily could have skipped this all, everybody was complaining. This is not a bike tour. Lovely town, really lovely guide, but whe wanted to ride our bikes, and faster too. People where running by, because whe where that slow. We saw other bike tours, just stopped for a short time and off you go. That's the spirit.

Response from the operator: Dear Reinald, sorry, that you didnt like the tour. This tour is also made for people who are not bikking every day. If you like we would be happy to give you a voucher for another tour with another guide. Thanks Ralph

A lovely few hours on two wheels

A great way to see the beautiful city. Unfortunately I was one of 26, and ended up being the back rider - which meant i got left behind on occasions. Please provide a back rider if you are going to accept such large numbers.

    Highly recommended

Friendly tour guide slightly nutty professor ish BUT we got good factual history, from an amiable guide. The day we did the tour was very hot (35C) and our guide Peter slightly modified it for the oppressive conditions. English Gardens and visit to BrauHoff beer garden was a highlight as were the surfers in the river. For the price and ease of joining location (MarienPlatz) I would highly recommend.

City Bike and English Garden Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.

How much does City Bike and English Garden Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $46 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City Bike and English Garden Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.

Is City Bike and English Garden Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City Bike and English Garden Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City Bike and English Garden Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City Bike and English Garden Tour?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City Bike and English Garden Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Munich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Munich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Munich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
