  3. Vernazza

Vernazza, the fourth jewel in the crown of the Cinque Terre Park, is renowned for the majestic Doria Castle that looms over the village and the azure waters below. Amazing Cinque Terre Experience

Our private day trip from Florence to Cinque Terre was exceptional. We were picked up at our hotel by the driver, who was professional, accommodating and adept in driving the winding roads. We arranged for a guide to meet us when we arrived and she helped us navigate through the three beautiful towns we visited. We had hoped we could get from town to town by ferry, but the weather was uncooperative, so we navigated by train. Our guide accompanied us, helped us get train tickets and pointed out memorable sites and one of a kind vistas, while giving us private time to explore. It was a wonderful experience, beyond my expectations, and worth the time and expense. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for sharing your experience. We are delighted to hear that your private day trip to Cinque Terre exceeded your expectations and that you enjoyed every aspect of the day. Cinque Terre is one of Italy’s most spectacular destinations, and we are pleased that, despite the unfavorable weather conditions, you were still able to fully appreciate its beauty and unique atmosphere. It is especially rewarding to know that both your driver and guide contributed to making your experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Our goal is always to provide personalized service, flexibility, and local expertise, ensuring that our guests can make the most of their time while traveling comfortably and confidently. Although the ferry service was not available due to the weather, we are glad that the alternative train connections allowed you to discover the charming villages, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable views that make Cinque Terre such a special place. Thank you again for your recommendation and for choosing Tours in Tuscany. It was a pleasure organizing your excursion, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Italy for another memorable adventure in the future.

Fantastic views of a Most Beautiful Location

Private tour was worth it. We had a wonderful tour by Sarah who showed us a lot interesting spots and gave a very informative tour. It was quite crowded in various spots and having Sarah as our guide proved valuable to bring us through into great spots and on a trail. We really enjoyed seeing the beauty. Having a private guide is well worth it.

Response from the operator: Dearest friend, thank you for your kind words. We’re truly delighted to have given you a wonderful experience in our country. I completely agree that visiting the Cinque Terre with a guide is a real privilege. Our guides are highly experienced (all officially licensed) and carefully selected to ensure you enjoy a truly unique experience. We hope to see you again in the near future to offer you more unforgettable moments. Arrivederci !!!!

10/10 will be using this company again the future!

Such an amazing experience! Booking and communication before our trip was seamless and all of our questions were answered quickly and efficiently. I cannot rave enough about our guide Vito, he took our trip to the next level. We only had a loose plan of what we wanted to do for our day in Cinque Terre, Vito was very knowledgeable of the area and also very realistic about what we could do and how to best optimize the time we had! We had such a wonderful time with Vito that we cancelled a wine tour through another company and re-booked through Tours in Tuscany because we knew it would be another amazing experience! Vito treated us like family and truly made our trip so special- you should absolutely request him as your guide if you book through this company!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Our drivers are highly professional and always do their best to make you feel comfortable and to provide an unforgettable experience. We look forward to welcoming you again on your next visit to Italy!

Great Guides, Great Tour Company and Beautiful Place

Thank you for a fantastic day! While on Virgin Voyages with my family and friends we booked a day trip with Tours in Tuscany. We were a large group of 22 people, and everyone had a blast! Starting with Chiara my experience was fantastic. She was very patient and worked with me for a few months before we decided on our day to Cinque Terre. It was our first time to this region, and I had a lot of questions :). Our day could not have been better. From the moment we met our drivers we knew it was going to be a lot of fun. Francesco, Benjamin and Lorenzo were really great! They kept us laughing, spent time showing us around, helping us with the train tickets we needed and just made it such a special day. There was fun banter between them and poking at each other hoping we chose one over the other as our favorite. The truth to be told is they were equally great - thank you guys for a blast! And oh what a beautiful place - I highly recommend visiting Cinque Terra.

Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea cost?

+

Prices start at $201 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cinque Terre Private Tour - The unique coast on the Mediterranean sea start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

+

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
