    Guide was a no show

Guide didn’t show up and didn’t even bother to let us know. We stood in the freezing cold and they don’t even have the curtesy to answer one text or call to see what was going on.

Response from the operator: Dear Miguel_V, We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. There is absolutely no excuse for a guide not showing up and for the lack of communication that followed. We sincerely apologise for leaving you in the cold without any information. Your feedback is very important to us and we take it seriously — we will investigate what happened and take action to ensure this never occurs again. We would very much appreciate the opportunity to make this right for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Best regards, Conny

    Very cold outdoor...

Very cold outdoor experience with no stops along the way with any type of out door heaters. That would have been nice to break up the tour. The limited drinks and food tastings were a nice little touch. You really can get the same experience without a guide. Guide was very nice but a novice.

Response from the operator: Dear Mark_L, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We are sorry to hear that the cold outdoor experience without door heaters made the tour less comfortable for you. Your suggestions about adding warm-up stops are very valid and we take them seriously. We are glad you enjoyed the food and drink tastings and that you found our guide friendly. We appreciate your feedback and will act on it to continuously improve the experience. We hope to have another chance to welcome you back to Vienna! Best regards, Conny

Great way to see the markets with a local

There is quite a bit of walking and the markets are very crowded. The food/drinks tastings are amazing. Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. The final market, however, he just dropped us off at the entrance and then said good-bye. Was expecting a final tour or tasting given the price. Outside of that, highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Katie_M, Thank you so much for your review and for recommending us! We are glad you enjoyed the food and drink tastings and that your guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We take your feedback about the ending of the tour very seriously — our guests deserve a proper farewell and conclusion to the experience. We will act on this feedback to ensure all future tours have a satisfying finish. We hope to welcome you back to Vienna very soon! Best regards, Conny

Christmas Market Vienna Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Vienna.

How much does Christmas Market Vienna Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $86 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Vienna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Christmas Market Vienna Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Vienna is not rushed.

Is Christmas Market Vienna Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 53 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Vienna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Christmas Market Vienna Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Christmas Market Vienna Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Christmas Market Vienna Tour?

    +

Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Vienna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Vienna and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Christmas Market Vienna Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Vienna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Vienna?

    +

On Outty we rank every Vienna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Authentic Vienna Food Tour inc. lunch, street food, 3 drinks, Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food, Budapest Small-Group Day Trip from Vienna. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Vienna?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Vienna?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
