Arguably the best one day safari trip. Chobe national park is small but with a high concentration of wild animals making it possible to spot a wide range of animal species in one glance especially during the boat safari on Chobe river as animals come for grazing on sedudu island and by the river bank for water. A very easy and less tiring activity due to the breaks that we will get between boat safari and game drive during lunch.

    Come and See!!!

It was the most fantastic experience that I’ve ever had. Whatever you see there, it’s gonna be more than you think. Also I really enjoyed very exotic experiences with my husband thanks to the professional guide Fortune. I strongly recommend this trip.

    It was not private tour

Bad organization. I spend two hours in small car, wait for a people on the border just to drop them somewhere else - they use us as a shared taxi, go for another 4 people somewhere else like a taxi again, just join us for a part of the day, we were in park one hour later that was on the schedule, first it should be boat but we had opposite first game drive but shorter, I ask for better car for return because my wife had a problem with her back on that car. They ask me another 80 usd just for transfer to the border!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review . We regret to note that you we not satisfied with our trip organization. We do acknowledge that we engaged you well the trip took off and you agreed to go on a shared trip as well over above you offered to pay extra for a private transfer. However it then turned out that you were not happy with the vehicle offered and we refunded you cash immediately. It is unfortunate you went on to claim the same refund including for the trip which you benefited on the the services which include lunch , drinks , game drive and boat cruise which according to other clients that went on the same trip was superb with amazing cat sightings during the trip. We do take positive and negative criticism seriously for the continuous improvement of our product offering to both current and future clients hence steps have been taken to address your concerns.

    Great value for money!

I booked with Viator but you can also book direct with Forche I think. They're super communicative. You can WhatsApp with them and ask any questions. They're punctual, organized and very professional. It all went smoothly from hotel pickup to dropoff and even across the border (maybe cuz it was wet season). I only had 4 others on my tour, which was great. I felt comfortable and safe the whole time. We started with the safari and then had a great lunch buffet at a nice hotel and then we proceeded with our Chobe cruise. It rained on us on the boat, and they didn't have proper rain gear for us, so bring your own if the weather calls for rain. One of the tourists on the safari was scared of elephants and hippos and kept telling the driver to not get too close. Don't let someone like that ruin your experience. The guides will tell you exactly what to do and how to be safe. We saw lions, hippos, giraffes, impalas, baboons, buffalo, and tons of elephants. It was fantastic and I'd do it all over again!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Yaz for your review. We will certainly seek to improve our rain gear supplies during the wet season.

Professional, communicative, knowledgeable and well organized!

Viator used the local tour company, Forche Tours for this excursion and I couldn't be happier. They were punctual, super communicative, experienced, and all around professional. You can WhatsApp with the local tour company that Viator uses and ask them any questions you may have. I wasnt' able to do this in any country outside of Africa. They're really on top of their tourist game! I felt very comfortable and safe. We started out with a pickup at my hotel and headed to the border. It went quickly and smoothly (maybe because I was there in low season). We did the safari part of the tour first and then the Chobe cruise part. We saw lions, giraffes, hippos, impalas, tons of elephants and much more. The only damper was a tour companion who was scared of everything and kept telling our driver/tour guide to not get too close. So make sure you don't have someone like that ruin it for you. The guides know what they're doing and how close they can get to the animals. They will tell you not to stand up or scream or talk loud when close to certain animals like the elephants. It rained on us during the cruise part. Forche tours didn't have proper rain gear, just a bunch of dirty plastic trash bags, so bring your own in case the weather calls for rain. Other than than, everything was perfect and I'd do it all over again!

Response from the operator: Dear Yasmine Thank you so much for your review.

Chobe Full day Trip: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.

How much does Chobe Full day Trip cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chobe Full day Trip take?

    +

Plan for about 24 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.

Is Chobe Full day Trip worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chobe Full day Trip?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chobe Full day Trip suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 24-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Chobe Full day Trip?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 24-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chobe Full day Trip start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?

    +

On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side), Zambezi River Class IV-V White-Water Rafting from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia: Guided Tour of the Falls from Both Sides. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Chobe Full day Trip?

    +

Included: Carbonated beverages; Bottled water; Lunch; All Fees and Taxes; and In-vehicle air conditioning. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Chobe Full day Trip include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 14 listed pickup locations in and around Victoria Falls. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Chobe Full day Trip offered in?

    +

It is offered in German, English, Italian and French. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Chobe Full day Trip?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.

Is Chobe Full day Trip wheelchair or stroller accessible?

    +

The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Chobe Full day Trip if the weather is bad?

    +

This experience depends on good weather. If it is canceled because of poor weather, you are offered a different date or a full refund.
