These plains offer to graze too many antelopes for the greater part of the year. It homes a large concentration of browsing and grazing animals. The rest of the Chobe park will be dry towards the end of the year, but the Chobe floodplains lush and green. A large concentration of antelopes and buffalo occur in this area. The lion pride is following these animals and have territories within the Chobe park. The layout of the Chobe park offers excellent river drives and floodplain views.
