Chobe National Park
Picked up from your hotel in Victoria Falls and travel 70 km to Kazungula border post.( Zimbabwe & Botswana Border) After immigration formalities, we then picked up between 08.00am- 08:15 (in a 4x4 open sided game drive vehicle), drive straight to the office for a light breakfast( tea /coffee with muffins). At 09.30 am we embark on a boat cruise for 3hrs and back at 1230hrs for lunch then at 13:30 hrs we depart for a 3 hour game drive. We will then be transferred to the border around 16:30hrs and cross over to the other side (Zimbabwean side) for our drive back to Victoria falls where trip ends on drop off at your hotel

Unforgettable experience
Had a 9 days safari at Victoria falls and Botswana. Archie was an excellent communicator and met all my needs organizing the safari. I was appointed to an excellent tour guide, Tafara, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, safe and made sure I had a full experience at every stop, filled with adventures and laughter. All my accommodations were excellent with multiple variety of meals included. I was the only one in the group, which was very personalized, felt like a VIP guest. Tafara picked me up and dropped me off at the airport, making the transition easy, hustle free and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this trip to make justice to this unforgettable experience. I definitely recommend this company and the guide to anyone wants to have an amazing safari experience in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Thank you Africa Uncovered Safaris and Tafara for making my dreams come true!

Unforgettable experience with knowledge & attentive operator
We had a three-day tour starting in Victoria Falls going to Chobe and returning to Victoria Falls with Africa Uncovered Safaris. Muza, our tour guide, provided exceptional service, from the time he picked us up from our hotel in VF and returned us at the end of our tour. He was incredibly informative, punctual, and thoughtful. The safari experience - where we had an afternoon boat and 3 game drives - allowed us to see giraffes, hippos elephants, crocodiles, jackals, baboons, monkeys, a whole variety of birds giraffes and much more. The experience was incredibly well organized. Muza navigated the complex border requirements with ease staying at our side the entire time. He met with us before and after each activity, always checking in to make sure that we we happy and comfortable, and seemed genuinely interested when we shared our stories of game sightings. We are thankful for the great guidance provided by Muza and would recommend this experience to anyone

Wonderful 9-day Vic Falls and Botswana safari - all inclusive - walking, boats, mokoro, game drives
This was our first safari for my husband and me - we did not know what to expect. When we looked at this company, it was reassuring to see that everything was included (except alcoholic beverages and tips for guides). We really felt we got a great value for the cost of the trip. Archie was great at getting back to us when we had a change of dates and very patient with payment - there were some problems with the payment links, but all was eventually resolved before the trip. This was a wonderful, memorable trip! Muza was our guide and made us all feel welcome and treated as "family". This was important, because we spent a lot of time together! The accommodations were great, we wished we could spend more time at some where we were only there for one night - but really the trip is about getting out and seeing sights and animals, for which we were not disappointed. As we were travelling in the dry season - July/August, mosquitos were very few and not really a concern. The safari was a great combination of walking, boat and game drives - all different ways to see animals from different perspectives. We had local guides at each of the places we stopped at who were all very knowledgeable in finding animals and giving information about them. Muza was awesome in making the best use of our time - getting us where we needed to be at the right time and helping facilitate meal times when they could be chosen in advance, so they were there when we returned from our outings. The meals were great and more than enough. We bought a few snacks at a store near one of the lodges, but really didn't need them. The van was comfortable, water was provided every day, and the travel between points were really also "game drives" and Muza stopped for us to view and take pictures of anything we wanted to see. He was patient, kind and clear with instructions about where and when to meet and what we were doing. We saw 4 of the 5 "Big Five" on this trip (Rhinos populations are low in Botswana - best seen at a sanctuary), but we also saw impalas, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, hippos, baboons and monkeys, and many birds. We also got a chance to visit with people living in a traditional village, which really helped us understand what we were seeing when we passed through other villages. This, Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta camping via Mokoro, were all highlights of the trip. Lastly, we started our trip at a conference in Livingstone, Zambia, where we flew in and out of. This complicated things because we had to cross over the border to Zimbabwe at the start of the trip and then cross back from Botswana to Zimbabwe to Zambia the last morning of the trip. Muza scheduled this perfectly so that we made the crossings and got to the airport in plenty of time to make our flight. All of the border crossings were not difficult, but all depended on how busy they were, which is not always easy to predict. Overall, we felt welcomed and well cared for on our first safari and are ready to return! Thank you to the folks at Africa Uncovered Safaris!

An Amazing Trip that exceeded our expectations
We heard about Africa Uncovered from someone we met earlier in the year. From the moment we did, we knew we were in safe hands. Archie replied to all my requests almost instantly and always provided the answers plus additional information. And we were able to be adaptable with the length of the trip and what we wanted to do. We found the cost very competitive compared with other companies and what we hadn't fully appreciated was that it was all inclusive! So all our food, non alcoholic drinks and activities were included. So all we had to pay was tips to local guides and any alcoholic drinks we consumed. The trip itself was a joy from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have Tafara as our guide. He tuned into us pretty soon after meeting us and understood that whilst we were very keen to see the wildlife up close, we also had an interest in the daily life of the people. He provided both in abundance as did any of the local guides we had. We were also impressed at the variety of activities. Obviously, we had a few safari drives but also boat trips and a visit to the astounding Victoria Falls. I was astounded at how close up we got to the animals without it ever feeling threatening for them. We also got to visit a small holding and talk to people there as we as visiting a couple of conservation projects. We opted for a night of camping in the Okavanga Delta - I'll never forget the serenity of being paddled through the small channels and the carpet of stars we were looking at. We had a big vehicle all to ourselves so were able to spread out and Tafara was excellent at spotting wildlife from afar which enhanced any journey we went on as did his stories of everyday life in his village. The accommodation was all of a high quality as were the meals we had. All in all, it was the most wonderful of holidays and we can't thank everyone involved enough for making so many wonderful memories for us.

Best of the Best!
I sent a quote request just one day before our trip — a truly last-minute inquiry — but Africa Uncovered Safari exceeded all expectations with a meticulously planned safari that started in under 24 hours. The communication was smooth and professional from start to finish. Our driver, Simba, was absolutely fantastic: punctual, kind, and attentive. He picked us up on time, drove us through the national park to the Botswana border, and handed us over to their trusted safari guide on the Botswana side. During the transfer through the park, we had the chance to see buffalo, giraffes, and wild dogs. Simba would always stop the car to let us take pictures and enjoy observing the animals in their natural habitat. Once in Botswana, we had breakfast with coffee and muffins, then embarked on a three-hour river safari, where we saw hippos, crocodiles, eagles, and impalas. Lunch was good, really good actually! In the afternoon, we continued with a three-hour game drive, during which we were lucky enough to see lions (twice!), elephants, kudu, giraffes, and even elephants playing in the water — a magical moment we’ll never forget. The return trip with Simba was calm and pleasant. We even spotted zebras on the Zimbabwean side of the park. Before bringing us back home, Simba kindly stopped at a store so we could buy some things, waited patiently for us, and then drove us home. Excellent service! The car was clean, comfortable, and odor-free. I can’t recommend Africa Uncovered Safari and Simba enough. Their attention to detail and excellent service turned what began as a last-minute booking into the most memorable and rewarding experience of our entire trip.
