Those looking for the most popular destinations may opt for the Amalfi Drive route, those who prefer quiet roads can choose the tour of Agerola, but this other option we offer has a bit of both: starting from Amalfi, we reach the famed town of Ravello, after a few steep km of climbing. Definitely not an easy ride for anyone, but if you choose pedal assisted e-bikes you will barely feel the incline! After Ravello, there's still a long climb on one of the quietest roads in this area, and once at the top you are rewarded with a view well worth your while. We descend on a different road towards Maiori, to close a loop with a short stretch on the coast (which may get quite busy at times, so basic cycling skills are still a must).

Duration: 4 hours: Length may slightly vary according to stops and cycling speed of participants. Lunch: Lunch stop is not planned in half day tours. There may be a shorter coffee break for a snack when timing allows. Chiunzi Pass loop: Climb from Amalfi to Ravello and Tramonti, back through Maiori and Minori. Faster riders may fit in a loop in Scala too. Bicycle: Choice between road bike, trekking bike, mountain bike and pedal assisted e-bike.

Bicycle: Choice between road bike, trekking bike, mountain bike and pedal assisted e-bike. Pastry shop: We can schedule a break at Sal De Riso famous pastry shop, to taste local specialties, while we pass Minori on our way back.

What an incredible way to see the area away from the hustle and bustle of the town centers. The scenery was breathtaking. We felt comfortable riding with Daniele who was a great guide.

Got in touch with Daniele in relation to a road bike hire. Came back quickly with different bike choices. Option also to deliver and collect - which was great and he dropped it to our accommodation in Maiori. Great flexibility and communication on drop off and collection. Cycling the Chiunzi Pass loop with Daniele at Amalfi Cycling was simply stunning! We had spent the previous day with Daniele cycling to Agerola. The Chiunzi Pass loop was completely different landscape. As opposed to the ocean views of our day in Agerola, the Chiunzi Pass loop was mountainous with gorgeous green. Daniele is a fantastic, professional guide, who knew how to pace us perfectly. (I was riding an e-bike and my husband used Daniele's outstanding Bianchi road bike.) The views were simply stunning! Daniele responded to every correspondence I had with him promptly and thoroughly, including general questions about the area, where to stay, how to get to other places, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Amalfi Cycling if you want to get away from the crowds in the area and get a taste of the Amalfi coast like none other.

Must do e-bike excursion on Amalfi Coast!
We five novice bikers wanted to experience the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast away from the crowds. Daniele’s tour exceeded all of our expectations! Setting off from Amalfi we toured the incredibly beautiful town of Ravello (Villa Cimbrone is a must see), then continued on to the little hamlet of Scala before stopping for a delicious lunch in Chiunzi. After lunch, we descended on quiet roads to Minori with a stop at the sea before returning to Amalfi. A true highlight of our week in Positano!
