    The best

We used Joe Banana for multiple tours in June 2025. We were traveling with 3 generations, ages 10-73. We used JB for transfers to and from the Civitavecchia cruise port, custom Tuscany tour, and Pompeii tour. We used other companies for other activities, but JB was BY FAR the best of all of them! If we are fortunate enough to return to Italy again, we will use JB for everything.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, We sincerely appreciate your wonderful feedback. We are so pleased to hear that your family enjoyed such a positive experience with our team during your time in Italy. It is truly rewarding to know that every member of your group, from the youngest to the oldest, felt comfortable and well cared for throughout your tours and transfers. Your kind words and trust mean a great deal to all of us, and we are honored to know that Joe Banana Italy stood out among your experiences. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you again in the future and help you create even more unforgettable memories in Italy. ✨ Warm regards, JB Italy Team 🇮🇹

    14 day trip in Italy

We used JBL for our 14 day trip in Italy. Our driver Angelo Savarese was with us from Rome to Pompeii to Venice to Florence and back to Rome. The trip was fantastic in every region, Angelo was very professional and very accommodating. We highly recommend him and JBL. It was a once in a lifetime trip. If ever I’m fortunate to return I would use both JBL and Angelo.

Response from the operator: Dear Jan, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We are truly thrilled to hear that your journey through Italy was such an incredible experience and that Angelo was able to make it even more special with his professionalism and attentiveness. It means the world to us that we could be part of such a memorable trip for you. At Joe Banana Italy, we strive to provide not just seamless transportation but also a personalized and enriching experience, ensuring that every moment of your journey is enjoyable and stress-free. Knowing that we made such a positive impact on your travels fills us with pride, and we will be sure to share your kind words with Angelo. We are beyond grateful for your recommendation, and nothing would make us happier than welcoming you back to Italy in the future. Should you have the opportunity to return, rest assured that the entire JBL team would be honored to assist you once again, creating another unforgettable adventure for you. Until then, we send our warmest regards and best wishes. Grazie mille 🤩 Best Regards, JB Italy Team 🇮🇹

    Great Tours always

I’ve used Joe Banana Limos and italytoursharing several times when I travel to Italy from Canada. They provide a variety of tours from the various cities which are all very good. The drivers have been professional, super friendly and entertaining. The winery tour from Florence is spectacular. What beautiful scenery and a wonderful driver. The family winery we ate lunch at was very delicious with lots of wine and a fair sized lunch. The group size is kept to 8 when u book a share tour so it is very nice and more intimate then those big bus tours. I feel you get much better value this way and also see more sights as you have more time. I will be returning again in May 2020 where I will be calling Joe Bananas for another great tour- never disappoints!! Always awesome!!

Response from the operator: Dear BBcana..., We want to thank you for the time you took to write about your experiences with our company. We know you have a wide choice when selecting companies for your excursions and we are very appreciative that we had the opportunity to provide you with our services on multiple occasions! It is our hope that all of our customers enjoy their tours in the way you have expressed that you did. We really do take pride in our work and consider this much more than a job. We thank you again for choosing JBL and Italy Tour Sharing and look forward to welcoming you back in May 2020!

Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.

How much does Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $315 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.

Is Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chianti Region and San Gimignano including wine tasting and light lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Florence?

    +

On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Florence?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Florence?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
