100/10 *read before booking*
One of the best experiences I have ever had with the actual tour guides but not this booking company. 100/10 experience- however, DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HERE. Book through the actual Chianti Vespa tours. Irene, the lady who was “communicating” with us almost made us miss our tour which stressed out not only our group but the tour guides. Do not bother working with her because she is either completely unresponsive or will give you the wrong information and make you miss your trip while gaslighting you at the same time. Everyone who works at the Chianti winery is extremely nice and accommodating, especially considering I have food allergies. They made it an amazing experience!! If you have never used a Vespa- they make it quick and easy to learn and I was completely comfortable the whole time. Also- the wine and olive oil is truly the best I’ve had and I can be a wine snob.

Great tour- but don’t book with Viator
Book directly with the company (Tuscany Vespa Tours)! The guides were awesome and the experience was great, however Viator was a terrible coordinator. They sent us the wrong address and time. Irene called us 5 minutes before the initial tour time (the new time was 30 minutes earlier across town) and was rude, unhelpful, and claimed she had told us about the change - she did not. I was the only one who got contacted at all, I went on this tour with 2 other friends who booked separately and they never even got a call about the last minute change of address and time. Thankfully, the guides were still at the new meeting point and we were able to go. I would highly recommend this tour, but please book directly though them.

Wonderful Vespa Tour!
This was an amazing tour with our guide Ben! He was so informative, kind, and funny too. The views are so beautiful and the homemade lunch was delicious and wines were great!

Best Vespa Tour-No experience needed!
Ben was the best guide ever! We started off in a car park to practice and get all the safety tips we need! No experience needed!! It was such a fun Vespa ride through the country side ending in delicious wine and food! Would definitely recommend and do it again!!!

Poor Communication from Tour company Cost Us! Steer away from Ciao Florence.
Read the fine print!! Meet up Location different than what is communicated on Viator. Received one text 3 weeks before tour on meeting location, Viator sends reminder the day before of meeting location and time (which was different). Needless to say, like other reviews we missed the tour because this company did not have consistent information with Viator. When you have a family vacation booked with multiple excursions, you should rely on all information to be correct and consistent. Company tried to make it right by offering a much lower priced E-bike tour. Just sucks that we missed out on this because they can’t fix their communication and don’t feel responsible because they texted us 3 weeks prior with meet up info. Even though this has happened multiple times with others! I would steer clear of Ciao Florence as this lazy way of communicating with customers and lack of empathy had us paying $500 extra for an inferior tour.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Florence.
How much does Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Florence usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Florence is not rushed.
Is Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Florence, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Florence can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Florence and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chianti and Tuscany Hills Vespa Tour with Lunch and Wine Tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Florence within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Florence?
+
On Outty we rank every Florence experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Best tour in Florence: Renaissance & Medici Tales - guided by a STORYTELLER, Florence Pizza or Pasta Class & Gelato Making at a Tuscan Farm, Small group Tuscan Wineries, Olive Oil & Gourmet Lunch or Dinner. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Florence?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Florence?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
