Best guide ever!!
Mr Nai was sooooo accommodating on every request and change of plans we had. He was reliable and on time and super flexible. He was all about making sure we got the best experience we could get and he did everything to make that happen. Picked us up late from airport and took us super early when we flew out. Very pleasant man. I would recommend him wholeheartedly!!!

6 Day Thailand Adventure
Great 6 day adventure with 6 people. We hired Mr Nai to take us from Chiang Mai to Pai with stops along the way. Ride was comfortable, his driving excellent, and he assisted in coordinating events along the way. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Great but Short Trip with Mr. Nai up North
We had only a few days in Chiang Mai and wanted to make sure we covered as many places as possible. Mr. Nai not only helped us in Chiang Mai but also took us to even further North to Chiang Rai. He made sure to cover all the places we wanted to visit during our short stay despite the fatigue of driving through heavy traffic and long hours. He is as others have pointed a great driver and very accommodating to our wishes. He is great and hones guide and we would highly recommend his services for your future travels to this region. Thanks Mr. Nai for all your help during our short stay and appreciate everything you did greatly - keep up the great work you and your wife are doing!

A wonderful, relaxed trip!
Even before the trip begins, Nai was super responsive. Ask any questions and he will answer. If he is engaged, he will let you know and answer after that. What I like was the trust that this exchange was built on. Not once did he ask for any deposit or payment. Infact we were the ones who insisted on paying him halfway through the tour. A very witty, charming and knowledgeable guide. Very patient with good driving skills. Oh, btw, he took some beautiful pictures for us. And last but not least, he's also quite good looking, right?

The best in Chiang Mai
Both Mr Nai and his wife Yui were a pleasure to deal with! We found their contact details on a TripAdvisor forum thread where they had been recommended by a former customer. From the beginning, our messages were answered quickly and with so much helpful information which was great as it was a same day tour we wanted. Yui collected us - family of 4 - in a comfortable and extremely spacious SUV and brought us to the Sticky Waterfall and Dantewada. She was kind and professional throughout. What I liked most was that we were never in any rush. Yui wanted us to enjoy our adventure. I worked in tourism for 10+ years so I know genuine people when I see them. Price wise it was a very fair price! Very easy to recommend!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer cost?
+
Prices start at $37 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary, Bamboo Rafting and Waterfall Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer?
+
Included: Private transportation; In-vehicle air conditioning; Music and karaoke; Airport and departure taxes; and Surcharges on fuel. Not included: Meals. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Chiang Mai Van Private Transfer include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 3 listed pickup locations in and around Chiang Mai. Be ready about 30 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

+

+
