Nice ride
There is no translator available on this tour. You basically follow a guide. If you have questions about what you see you’d have to use an app to translate but for the most part there is zero engagement.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize if the lack of a translator and limited engagement did not meet your expectations. We understand how important it is to receive clear information and have opportunities to ask questions during a tour. Your comments are very valuable and will be shared with our team as we work to improve communication and the overall guest experience. We truly appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more engaging experience in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

at first was abit sceptical about the price. but from the moment we arrived at the Spartan it was well worth it. would love to do it again. both guides are super awesome. they let us drive the UTV as hard as we can which was perfect. would definitely recommend

Dune Buggy Tour in Chiang Mai
Awesome time getting dirty off-road! Lots of mud, water, and rough terrain. Pretty safe. Best part was there was no dust or sand flying around when I was driving.

Awesome experience
The staff are very friendly and the vehicles in good condition. These guys don’t hold back, they let you drive them hard! There was only me and my wife with one UTV and a guide on an ATV to follow, he shot off at warp factor 8 sliding his ATV round the corners and we followed! As we kept up with him he went faster! Brilliant!! There are big muddy pools along the track, the guid couldn’t go through them on his ATV so he stoped and point for us to go through them, mud flying everywhere!! Watch out for small friendly Thai girl who will probably greet you. As our guide got stuck, she joined us to help, she then led the way. Well, she was like Lara Croft on steroids! Warp factor 12 out of 10!! This is a great experience, just make sure you take a change of clothes and don’t take your rucksack when you drive, mine had to come in the shower with me!

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.
How much does Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim cost?
+
Prices start at $1150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.
Is Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 1-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chiang Mai: ATV Off-Road Express Adventure Ride in Mae Rim start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
