Place Outa el Hammam
Many things happen around the hustle and bustle of the main square in Chefchaouen: Plaza Uta El-Hammam. Sitting in the center of the medina, the square is surrounded by restaurants, shops, the Kasbah, and the Grand Mosque. The Grand Mosque is still used for religious worship, so it is not open to tourists; however, its unique octagonal minaret can be viewed from the square. Sit by the tree in the center of the cobbled square, and people-watch for a break from sightseeing – a fun thing to do while in Chefchaouen.

Ras El Ma
This is a small but beautiful waterfall situated on the outskirts of the medina, amongst pretty woodland. It can be reached via the hiking trail that takes you up to the Spanish Mosque, so it is a nice thing to do in Chefchaouen if you have time to stop while passing by.

The Spanish Mosque is a beautiful building that sits isolated on a hill above Chefchaouen. The mosque was built in the 1920s, during the war. However, it was never actually used and now sits abandoned, looking out across the city. It is an easy 30-minute hike to the top, where you will be rewarded with incredible views.

It’s a LONG Drive
I should have read the description more carefully. It’s a 4 hour drive each way to and from Rabat to Chefchaouen. Chefchaouen itself is lovely and we enjoyed our guide but you only spend 3-4 hours in the city. The drive was lovely but I’m not sure I would do it again.

Beautiful place but unpleasant tour agency
I am disappointed that the van they used to pick us 10 pax is pretty cramp. The aircon is also not working. The driver is also slow in driving so it takes longer time for us to reach. However, he did change on the drive back after we give feedback to the manager and the tour guide. But having all these unpleasant issues, I have to say that this place is beautiful. The pictures you take all turn up to be so pretty. The shopping area is nice too.
