About this experience
The Vineyards Nobody Else Can Show You the great wine regions of the world have two kinds of producers — those who sell to tourists and those who sell to collectors. We take you to the second kind. Every vineyard on this tour has been personally handpicked by Aaron. They produce between 800 and 50,000 bottles per year. They do not advertise. Buses cannot reach them. And they do not open their cellar doors to just anyone. Because you are with us, they will open them for you. Choose your own journey through 8 extraordinary venues between Cromwell and the Gibbston Valley. At each one, you will be welcomed not as a tourist but as a serious buyer — by the winemaker, the owner, or a trained sommelier who knows every vine in the vineyard. and because great wine deserves to be enjoyed at home as much as on tour, every single venue can arrange international delivery directly to your door. Arrive home to find the best of Central Otago waiting in your hallway.

Seals and chefs foodie experience
Had a wonderful foodie adventure over 10 hour day We stopped at 3 vineyards and had a sensational lunch with 10 wine tastings and then proceeded to the south coast where we climbed up a lot of steps and saw 30 to 50 fur seals
Response from the operator: Hi Michael Thank you for being our foundational reviewer for this new Tour. I hope you enjoyed your experience and we look forward to your imminent return

Chef's Taste Trail from Wellington to Cape Palliser
Went on an amazing food and wine tour to the Martinborough region today with Aaron from Kosher Tours. We visited Nga Waka, Schubert and Coneys vineyards for wine tasting and an out of this world culinary experience that my partner a retired chef gave an 11 out of 10. Following our lunch we meandered through farming country along the rugged coastline to Cape Palliser. We were treated to a herd of seals and their young basking in the sun before tackling the 252 steps up to the lighthouse for stunning coastal views.
Response from the operator: Hi Jan Thank you for joining us on one of our very first tours exploring the very southern part of New Zealand and the very best of food wine and country Kind regards from Kosher tours and travel

Varied tour of Wairarapa produce
For me, the highlight was the Olea olive oil visit and tasting. The owner is obviously passionate about his product, and with good reason. The three vineyards produce quite distinct wines despite using the same/similar grapes. The chocolate factory was a little disappointing as it turned out that we could taste the same samples as anyone of the street and there was no explanation of the process.
Response from the operator: Hi Ian Thank you for choosing Kosher tours and Travel. I spoke with Murray at Schoc as it had been a while since my last visit and they had made some small changes. Likewise I was heartbroken as I usually lead the sacrament of the chocolate.

Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Queenstown.
How much does Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown cost?
+
Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Queenstown usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Queenstown is not rushed.
Is Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Queenstown, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Queenstown can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Queenstown and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chef's Private Otago Gourmet's 2 Day Wine tour from Queenstown start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Queenstown within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Queenstown?
+
On Outty we rank every Queenstown experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Milford Sound Small Group Tour & Cruise from Queenstown, Milford Sound Premium Small Group Tour & Cruise from Queenstown, Award Winning Premium Wine Tour Queenstown Tasting at 4 Wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Queenstown?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Queenstown?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
