A brightly painted wall symbolizes the tomb of the legendary Beatle and peaceful resistance to violence worldwide. It was created just after the death of Lennon at the end of 1980, when people began spontaneously adding graffiti to mark his life and thoughts, laying flowers and candles. To this day the wall attracts new graffiti, the original painting with the portrait of John Lennon lost beneath layers of paint.

A fine activity for first days in Prague.
Fun, relaxed, VERY knowledgeable, local Czech host(Matyas)! Extremely friendly. Interested in international affairs. Only 8 persons on our tour. Once we switched from his guided walking tour to the boat, the narrator was an automated voice; that was not a personal tour.

Josef was a fantastic, friendly tour guide with a detailed knowledge of the area and its history. He speaks fluent English so it was easy for me to understand coming from the United States. I highly recommend going on this tour!

Boat tour was disappointing
The walking part of the tour was great but it was a little confusing trying to find out where we were supposed to meet. The BOAT TOUR RIDE was disappointing. There were no clear instructions when getting on the boat and it was just a row of benches to sit on, and pretty crowded. It was basically a bit chaotic, and the beer and hot coffee was served in plastic cups, which was so un European and cheap. They did give us some snacks, but I just dreaded all the plastic wrapping and cups probably being blown into the river. It just wasn’t very eco-minded. Once seated, it was hot inside, and the windows were all shut very difficult to open isn’t even sure if we were allowed to open them. Some young people behind us took over the seats by covering the whole bench with their legs so there wasn’t anywhere to sit, and we had to ask them to move over and share the seating which they were unhappy about, during the boat ride, they were obnoxious and loud. One of them even stole one of the staff hats. They were not even listening to the tour information through the headphones. It would’ve been nice if one of the staff members had taken more initiative to seat people and make sure that everyone was happy and open up some windows for us. It was difficult to hear what was going on with the unruly people on the boat in such a crowded space. In hindsight, I should’ve paid for a much more expensive boat tour with perhaps calmer and older clientele, and a glass of wine.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed our guided walking tour. Regarding the meeting point, we provide the exact address and detailed directions with every booking, which thousands of our guests successfully use to find us, so we’re sorry this proved confusing. The cruise is operated by our long established partner Prague Venice, so seating, onboard service and the behavior of other passengers are outside our control, but we’ll pass your comments on. Sorry it wasn’t your cup of tea, or... glass of wine! :)

+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Prague?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
