Settle down to your meal as a violinist and saxophonist pour their souls into weaving tunes that lift your spirit and set the mood for your evening. Hear classic jazz music as well as popular 80s and 90s music that make for a jovial, foot-tapping atmosphere. If you feel inspired to dance, hit the dance floor and twirl your partner to the rhythm of the music. Pass by an illuminated Bangkok, which is simply mesmerizing with its glimmering lights that dance on the water's surface, and see ancient temples such as Wat Arun, known also as the Temple of Dawn. Chao Phraya is as iconic to Bangkok as the Seine is to Paris or the Thames is to London and it winds its way by the city's best sights. From your vantage point, you can see the Grand Palace, Thammasat University, and the chain-stayed Rama VIII Bridge. Snap photos to remember your scenic, festive adventure, and then disembark the ship for your convenient transfer back to your hotel.

The cruise itself was...
The cruise itself was really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The singer was very good and lively. The food was terrible. No words to describe how bad. We had a private driver to and from the pier and he was awesome.

Relaxing evening cruise
Wonderful evening cruise with great food and entertainment. Cruise by lit up bridge, temples and other buildings . My pick up was late 45 minutes but the traffic was bad that night. Safe transport to and from dockside.
via Viator
Very positive and enjoyable
The cruise itself. The band and dancing was great and enjoyed by a number of passengers. The boarding was not very smooth and it was extremely helpful to have a guide to get our boarding pass. Seemed like a overly complicated process.

Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise is best among budget ones.
We booked Chaophraya Princess Thai+International dinner cruise thru ticket2attraction site. We opted for Upper deck with roof & to/from transfer hotel to cruise. Prepaid booking was smooth & we got to know later that our boarding pier has changed from Iconsiam pier to Asiatique pier. Read reviews in TA that the boarding is very poor & rushing, but our experience of boarding from Asiatique pier was quite good. Upon reaching pier, we got vouchers redeemed to boarding tickets from counter & they additionally gave us stickers to stick on our t shirts for immediate identification. All travellers opting for Indian cuisine were sent to Ground Floor deck & international cuisine to upper deck. We were given deck front table where we enjoyed both being under roof & open deck also. Only trouble was the loud live music which was at open deck area. Buffet started as soon as vessel left pier. There was some initial rush for food but we waited to clear the rush. The staffs were very prompt in refilling food & calmly took our food. Food can't be rated 5/5 but I will rate it average 3/5. They gave us welcome drink (fruit juice) also. The live band Female singer was good & tried her best to entertain the passengers. By God's grace there was no rain during the 2 hour cruise & we enjoyed the enlightened Bangkok from river. Rama 8 Bridge, Wat Arun, Grand Palace etc were all illuminated in night & really viewable. The smokers had to go to the rear of the vessel for open air smoking. Toilets were ok. Overall one should not miss this cruise while in Bangkok. We booked return van in our package & had the peace of worry free pickup & drop. We got a discount from ticket2attraction & it costed us approx 1248 Thai Baht per person incl transport.

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bangkok.
How much does Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup cost?
+
Prices start at $2389 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bangkok usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bangkok is not rushed.
Is Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bangkok, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bangkok can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bangkok and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chaophraya Princess Dinner Cruise in Bangkok with Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bangkok within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bangkok?
+
On Outty we rank every Bangkok experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bangkok Backstreets Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Old Siam Bangkok Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Tingly Thai Cooking Class with Morning Market Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bangkok?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bangkok?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
