If your family lived in Bari and could cook 🧑🍳
What a delightful and delicious experience! Fernanda and family are so charming, talented, and kind. My husband and I loved spending time with them and communicating in English, Italian, and with the help of translation applications. 😄 We enjoyed all of the food served and prepared, and now know more about baking flours than our sourdough expert daughter does! Highly recommend.

Wonderful evening with Fernanda, with delicious pasta and lots of fun
We had a fantastic evening with Fernanda, who had prepared traditional Italian food for us. She teached us how to make pasta in 3 different ways, our kids loved it! We also made delicious tiramisu and pasta sauce with only natural and fresh ingredients, together with Fernanda and Sara. We had a wonderful evening with lots of fun, the kids and grandma both enjoyed it very much! Thank you Fernanda 🙏 we hope to see gou, Franco and Sara again! 🥰

Wonderful cooking experience!
Valentina was the most generous host with her time, food and hospitality. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge of the food of the region and patiently taught us how to make crumbed eggplant rolls, cavitelli pasta and an easy and delicious sauce, and tiramisu. We have had Avery satisfying main meal for the day and learnt skills that we can take home with us. Thank you very much Valentina!

Siamo sempre grati!
We had a tremendous time with our host Juanita. She provided us with a traditional meal, all of which was absolutely delicious! She showed us how to make orechiette, revealing the skill and artistry required. Juanita is such a lovely conversationalist; we enjoyed her sense of humour, and she has a terrific knowledge and experience of Puglian food traditions. If you have the opportunity to go to Juanita’s home, take it - this was the best food we had in all of Puglia!! We are so grateful.

Definitely recommend
We had a great evening in Sara’s home, appreciated the company and warm welcome and the food was delicious! Felt like visiting family, everyone was making sure that we were comfortable and that we have everything we need. There was more food than we could eat and even got some delicious focaccia to-go to have for the next day. The entire family was so helpful with explaining different elements of Italian culture and offering us tips on what we should cover in our trip. Very valuable recommendations! Thank you, Sara!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.
How much does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari cost?
+
Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.
Is Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Bari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bari?
+
On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Bari Vecchia Group Tour in Italian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bari?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bari?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
