Jaylyn ROCKS! Garrett is great!
Larry was horrible. DO NOT GO IF LARRY IS GOING TO BE ON THE BOAT. He made a female team member cry on the ride back in. He was inappropriate and vulgar. He cussed at people on the boat. He was oppressing and rude. And after he would be rude, he would still look at you to help him get into his own Dive gear.

Exceptional Diving Experience with Aaron’s Dive Shop
I’ve completed 14 dives with Aaron’s Dive Shop during my time on Oahu, and every single one has been outstanding. The entire team is professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating memorable dive experiences. I dove with Ken, Brian, Santi, and Britt, and each guide brought something special to the day—expert knowledge, calm leadership, and a fun, welcoming attitude. Captain Garrett kept everything running smoothly on the boat, and the atmosphere onboard was relaxed, safe, and enjoyable. We visited multiple dive sites, explored several wrecks, and saw an incredible amount of marine life—turtles, schools of fish, and vibrant reef activity. Every dive felt well‑planned and unrushed, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the underwater scenery. A special shout‑out to Brittany, who was exceptionally friendly and shared great recommendations for local places to eat. That personal touch made the experience even better. Aaron’s Dive Shop is a top‑tier operation with amazing people, excellent service, unforgettable dives, and amazing staff. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Oahu.

Going deep, safely
An early morning dive is met with the vivacious Francesca our dive instructor diva greeting us and ensuring our Nitrox levels are right on. Captain Garret met us at the dock and let us know it was perfect conditions to visit Corsair. The deep dive was awe inspiring, Francesca calmed me when the excitement of the descent turned to panic. A few deep breaths and excitement came back in time for me to see garden eels and the decaying fuselage of the corsair. As always each day of diving with Aaron’s staff brings a great time where safety is number one.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had such a memorable dive on the Corsair. Francesca has a true gift for helping divers feel comfortable and confident underwater, and we're glad she was there to help you work through that moment of excitement during the descent so you could enjoy the experience and take in the beauty of the wreck and the garden eels. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to both Francesca and Captain Garrett. It means a lot to hear that their professionalism, attention to detail, and focus on safety helped make your day such a positive one. Thank you for choosing Aaron's Dive Shop. We look forward to diving with you again soon!

Fabulous scuba
Well looked after, friendly and knowledgeable. Did my reactivation dive with them, having not dived in a year or two. Well looked after. Saw turtles, moray, tang and an array of reef wildlife. Great local knowledge and you can see that the staff thoroughly enjoy what they do. Totally recommend them.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review! We're so glad you chose us for your reactivation dive and had a wonderful experience getting back underwater. Seeing turtles, moray eels, and Hawaii's amazing reef life is always a bonus! We appreciate your kind words about our team and are thrilled you felt well looked after. Mahalo for the recommendation, and we hope to dive with you again soon!

Great Experience!
Highly recommend Aarons dive shop and their staff. If you want a more personalized, locals vibe where you don't feel like just any customer that walked in the door, this is your shop. We started our experience with Aarons by enrolling our kids online in PADI open water certification along with a refresher for Mom and Dad. Rachel and Charlotte got us all the info we needed and helped us set all that up and then got us scheduled for pool training and dives when we arrived on Oahu. Britt was our instructor and did a great job with us and our kids (13 and 10 ) finishing up our instruction and pool time. Our kids loved her as an instructor- very patient and thorough. She helped them gain confidence through the whole process- all the way through their open water dives and completion of their certification. On the boat we had great dives with Britt, Franchesca and Paul. Captain Garret deserves a shout out as well. His assistance on the boat elevated the experience. Lots of great expertise with these guys all around. Knowledgeable, safety focused and fun. It was a great experience with a great team that was exactly what we were looking for to get our family certified/refreshed and into the water!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It was a pleasure helping your family get certified and back into the water. We're thrilled to hear Britt made such a positive impact on your kids' experience, and we'll be sure to share your kind words with her, Francesca, Paul, Captain Garrett, Charlotte, and the rest of the team. Congratulations to your newly certified divers! Mahalo for choosing Aaron's Dive Shop, and we look forward to diving with your family again soon.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites cost?
+
Prices start at $215 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Certified Scuba Diving Along Two Shallow Reef Sites start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
