Rio in 3 days
We gave good guide in Rio carte blanche to organize our 3-day visit to Rio. We are leaving delighted and informed. Alex helped us discover a 360-degree view of Rio. Great organization thanks to Fernando and his car, which was always waiting for us at the right place at the right time. Great moment with Marco in the Santa Marta favela. We weren't even scared

An incredible stay
So where to start with this wonderful stay! A great welcome at the airport with Philippe who would then be our guide for Rio. All the tours were just great, as was our driver Paulo. Great restaurant recommendations! Everything is custom-designed. The second time we have trusted Antoine, highly recommended. We are continuing our stay in the Northeast. See you next time 😜
Response from the operator: A huge thank you, Françoise, for this wonderful review. I shared it with Philippe, who was delighted and said he had a great time with all of you. We will be with you throughout your itinerary in the Northeast—enjoy the rest of your trip. And thanks again for your trust.

Wonderful moments!
Excellent tour! We loved our guide Walmir who was exemplary during these two days. Very friendly, exceptionally kind, with a perfect command of all his subjects and impeccable French. A real favorite for us.❤️ Good guide in Rio allowed us to meet a precious guide (Walmir) who literally won us over professionally and personally. We would also like to acknowledge the professionalism and friendliness of Mathéo, our driver. Very beautiful experience!!❤️

Exceptional emotions
3 days in Rio with Rafael my guide commissioned by Antoine de Good Guide in Rio Programme concocted by Antoine. Excellent proposal that combines nature/culture/history Antoine very accompanying and facilitating for the booking and the problems I encountered to confirm my commitment. I recommend +++ D1: Tijuca Forest and Pedra Bonita Hiking D2: Lapa - Santa Teresa and Favela Santa Marta D3: historic centre My guide Rafael Franco Brazilian in perfect French knew his program very well. Very available, attentive, a lot of care during these 3 days. 26 years old but already a talented and competent guide on the whole program. The 3 excellent days. My memorable memories: the view from Pedra Bonita, the visit to the Favela that breaks the cliché of the Favelas and the entrance to the cathedral striking with emotion. Thanks to Antoine for the proposal and Rafael for the support

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rio de Janeiro.
How much does Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rio de Janeiro usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rio de Janeiro is not rushed.
Is Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Rio de Janeiro, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour?
+
Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rio de Janeiro can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rio de Janeiro and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Centro Historico and Lapa - Santa Teresa Walking, Historical and Bohemian Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rio de Janeiro within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rio de Janeiro?
+
On Outty we rank every Rio de Janeiro experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pedra da Gávea hike, your best experience in Rio, Rio's Full Day: Selarón Steps, Christ & Sugarloaf – Tickets & Lunch Included, Rio: Tijuca Rainforest Hike, Wildlife, Waterfalls & Caves. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rio de Janeiro?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rio de Janeiro?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
