PRIVATE TOUR WITH SCOTT (PROPOSAL INCLUDED)
**5 Stars - The Most Magical Experience of Our Lives!** **Tour with: Wee Scottish Tours | Guide: Scott** Where do we even begin?! We had the absolute *BEST* experience with Wee Scottish Tours on a private tour to the Scottish Highlands — and it turned into one of the most unforgettable days of our lives. Our incredible guide, Scott, was an absolute legend from start to finish. He didn’t just drive us through the breathtaking landscapes — he brought Scotland to life with stories, history, and local knowledge that made every stop along the way fascinating and fun. His energy, enthusiasm, and passion for his country were infectious, and he truly made the journey feel like an adventure. But here’s the part that will forever be etched in our hearts: I proposed to my beautiful partner at a stunning lake in Glencoe — and Scott helped me *plan it all perfectly*. He found the most serene, picture-perfect spot right by the water with the Highlands rising in the background. It was like something out of a fairy tale. With his help, everything went smoothly, and the moment was pure magic. From the gorgeous scenery to the thoughtful touches and endless fun, this tour exceeded all expectations. If you're even *thinking* about exploring Scotland, book with Wee Scottish Tours and ask for Scott — you will not regret it. Thank you, Scott, for helping make this the best day of our lives. We’ll be talking about it forever!

Loved it.
Our 2 day private tour with Wee Scottish tours was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Will, was excellent. Our tour organizer, Kevin, made sure that we got to do everything that we requested and made some great suggestions. This is really the best choice for touring the Central Highlands, particularly if you want to do Whisky tasting.
Response from the operator: It was a pleasure touring you guys around look forward to showing you more distillery’s and more of the Scottish scenery when you come back

Amazing Day of Scotch and History!
Wee Scottish Tours was easy to deal with and very reliable. We had an amazing day seeing old towns, castles and lochs near the Highlands. We also had tasty food and a scotch whiskey tour at one of the Speyside distilleries. Our guide, Will, was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We learned an incredible amount about Scottish history and culture, and had a great time!
Response from the operator: Thanks for the review Jim, it was a delight showing you around and can’t wait to welcome you back to show you more of the highlands and share some more whisky!

Wee Tour Grand Memories
Scottish Highlands Private Tour (July 31, 2022) I was looking for a tour for my elderly dad and myself in a comfortable vehicle without too much walking. I had provided Kevin with some addresses where our ancestors lived in Edinburgh. We were impressed that he arrived with the locations and drove us to each for a quick photo before the proper tour started. We spent a lovely day with our new friend Kevin, chatting, laughing and learning. The day was relaxed & flexible with stops for coffees and washroom breaks when needed. We drove by the Kelpies, Queensferry, Linlithgow Palace, several lochs, Stirling Castle, sheep farm, fed Honey the Highland Coo, met local cafe owners and then Rosslyn Chapel which was fascinating. I hope to visit Scotland again with my husband and son and spend another great day with Kevin.
Response from the operator: Was an absolute pleasure spending the day with you both! I’m so glad you’re dad enjoyed it and I look forward to meeting the rest of the family on the next trip.

Scotland Highlands/Stirling Castle/Glengoyne Whisky Distillery with Gregor
I LOVE this company! This is the second day-trip my husband and I have booked with this group - we are returning customers for a reason. The tours are always small (usually 10-15 people in a group) and the intimacy always makes the tour enjoyable and most attendees friends by the end of the day. We made a last-minute decision to book this day-trip on New Year's Eve day, and our host/guide Gregor was truly a gem. For those who may be unaware (we were!), the Scots do NOT mess around about New Year's Eve, so having an amazing day tour the day of one of their biggest holidays was truly wonderful. Gregor was a great tour guide and made the day fly by. We have been on two day-tours with this company and 100% recommend it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review!

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Edinburgh.
How much does Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving cost?
+
Prices start at $1,015 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Edinburgh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Edinburgh is not rushed.
Is Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Edinburgh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Edinburgh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Edinburgh and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Edinburgh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Edinburgh?
+
On Outty we rank every Edinburgh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Chocolatarium Chocolate Tour Experience in Edinburgh, The Mountebank Comedy Walk of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Old Town: Historical Guided Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Edinburgh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Edinburgh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving?
+
Included: Private transportation; Booster Seats (Please contact us before hand to arrange); Professional guide; Bottled water; and In-vehicle air conditioning. Not included: Lunch; and Entrance Fees. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 171 listed pickup locations in and around Edinburgh. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving offered in?
+
It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Central Highlands lochs Stirling Whisky private driving if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Edinburgh. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
