About this experience
The Celestun Biosphere Reserve is home to a unique biodiversity, you can find birds and animals characteristic of the Yucatec flora and fauna. The first stop is the tourist center of the state where we will take a boat and enter the salutary lagoons of Ria Celestún. Along the way we will discover the birds until we reach the elegant pink flamingo that will allow us to contemplate its color and elegance. The tour does not end and we will go to know the heart of the red mangrove and walk on an islet to know a water eye where the fresh water of the cenotes and the salt water of the Gulf of Mexico mix. At the end of the tour, we will head to the village to enjoy one of the best restaurants in the area. The freshness of its dishes will make you feel in paradise. You will have free time on the beach to relax and gaze at the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This coastal experience will be full of unforgettable moments.

The Celestun Biosphere Reserve is a protected place where various species of the Yucatec coast grow. Here we will find birds such as: pink flamingo, herons, pelicans among others. Also crocodiles and landscapes that blend between the sky and the green of the mangrove. We will take a boat in the reserve that will take us on a tour of 1 hour 20 min. This trip connects you with the essence of water and nature. You will learn more about the fascinating pink flamingo, discover why it finds refuge in the Yucatan and understand the importance of mangroves in protecting the coasts. Everything, as you enter an environment that seems to come out of a dream. We will enter the heart of the mangrove and finally we will walk an islet to know a water eye where the fresh water of the aquifers connect with the salt waters of the ocean.
