    Disappointing “Tour”

This tour was a waste of money and time. We spent most of the time picking people up and dropping people off. Then they drop you off in front of the cave and you go inside yourself. No explanation, nothing. After, they take you to a pearl store. The end. The entire “tour” took an hour. Get your own tickets and go on your own.. we wish we did that instead. Very disappointing! You do your own tour anyway.. no one tells you about anything. Our “guide” walked us from the bus to the line and gave out tickets. That’s all.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review, but there are several important inaccuracies we need to clarify for future travellers. First, the experience described does **not correspond to the service operated by Nofrills Excursions**. We do not include a visit to a pearl shop on this excursion. There are several suppliers on Viator offering similar Caves of Drach products, and it appears that different services may have been confused here. Our excursion includes approximately **2 hours inside the Caves of Drach**, from around 11:00 until approximately 13:15, including the cave visit, the classical concert and the optional boat crossing. Guests explore the caves independently at their own pace; the guide does not accompany the group through the caves giving a continuous guided commentary, as the attraction itself operates the visit. As with any excursion departing from Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada, there are hotel pick-ups and drop-offs. The collection process can take around 40 minutes because passengers are being collected from different locations before travelling to Porto Cristo. Regarding the statement that the entire excursion lasted only one hour, this is simply impossible according to the scheduled itinerary and the service provided. We are sorry that you were disappointed, but we strongly recommend checking the exact supplier and itinerary before attributing aspects of another Viator product to **Nofrills Excursions**. 🦇

    Rude coach driver

The experience was good but nearly ruined by a rude coach driver/guide Sebastian. Asking for information not needed so much so that my wife and daughter felt they had to be back 15 minutes before each pick up time during the day in case of being left behind Would not use this company again

Response from the operator: Dear Terry_M, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the Caves of Drach Tour, but we are very surprised by your comments regarding our driver/guide. Your review is unclear — you mention Sebastian asked for “information not needed” but you do not explain what was actually said. Before making such accusations publicly, it would have been far better to contact us directly by email to report the situation so we could properly investigate. With over 20 years of experience running excursions in Mallorca, Nofrills Excursions takes guest feedback very seriously, and we always follow up on any concerns about our staff. Without specific details, we cannot verify your claim, but we would encourage you to reach out to us directly if you would like this matter looked into further. Kind regards, The Nofrills Excursions Team

Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.

How much does Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada cost?

    +

Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.

Is Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Caves of Drach Tour From Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mallorca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mallorca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mallorca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
