Great experience with Peter

Peter was great with my 5 year old and always ready to help with getting the best out of the trip. We took 3 tours with him and would be getting in touch with him again for future trips to Perth! A stand-up guy who you can trust to be ready, patient and friendly.

Response from the operator: Thanks Ming, keep in touch 🙏👍

Highly recommended. Friendly, informative, helpful.

Peter was very helpful right from booking the tour stage. He offered advise and options to customise the tour based on varied interests of our family. On the day itself, he was most accomodating and helped search for alternative Halal lunch spot to fitour schedule. It was a very informative and highly enjoyable tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for taking time for your lovely kind review. It was a real pleasure to show you around the swan valley, the animals & a small part of the perth hills history. Safe travels lovely family 🙏

A great tour & experience for a small family

The best way for a small family to visit places while you are in Perth is with Peter's Perthstinytours. He planned our trip very well and was kind enough to stop at several places for our kids to enjoy some of the local chocolates, morish nuts and house of honey etcand also a few other interesting places around swan valley. We also did wine tasting at a couple of popular wineries. Peter was very helpful and accommodating to our preferences and diets, which made it a wonderful experience without any stress. All in all it was a great trip and we all enjoyed his company thoroughly. We would love to go on day tour again with Perthstinytours when we visit Perth next time.

Response from the operator: Hey Ram thanks so much. Was a lot of fun with you guys, very much a pleasure to show you around, safe travels. Peter

1/5 review

It was ok but really boring, I thought it was going to be better but it wasn’t really, kinda sad not gonna lie I was looking forward to it but…

Response from the operator: Interesting "review"...so everyone knows....I havent done a Solo Caversham tour booking in 2025 & certainly no Solo Caversham bookings in May so I know 100% this review is either intended for another tour company or is simply fake. Its a shame Viator insists this is a legitimate review as Ive no idea who this person is & they have not even given their name or reference. Peter Perths Tiny Tours

Perth Tiny Tours - An amazing private tour experience!

Our family took two day tours with Perth Tiny Tours at the end of November 2024. We did the Caversham Wildlife Park tour and the Giants and Dolphins tour with Peter. He is such a wonderful guide and person in general! Super accommodating and relaxed, very knowledgeable, and he was great with our two kids (aged 6 and 9). It was a bit like visiting a favourite relative and having them show you around! I would say that the cost of the tour is more than fair, for what you are getting. Certainly, you could drive yourself to all the places offered by Perth Tiny Tours, but you can't beat a local's insight and wealth of experience! Anyway, if you're on holiday and going to be spending on tours, for a family, I don't think a bus tour would be that much cheaper, especially considering that you are getting a private driver/guide, and ultimate flexibility! If all that is too much to read, I will simply say this: The next time I'm in Perth, I will be looking to book another experience with Perth Tiny Tours!

Response from the operator: Thanks Hans for your very kind review. It was a pleasure to show you all around on those 2 tours & yes I hope we meet again. Safe travels.

Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Perth.

How much does Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Perth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Perth is not rushed.

Is Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Perth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Perth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Perth and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Caversham Wildlife and Swan Valley Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Perth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Perth?

+

On Outty we rank every Perth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Optus Stadium Tour, Pinnacles Desert Sunset Dinner and Stargazing Tour, VIP Swan Valley Wine Tour - Premium Small Group Wine & Gourmet Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Perth?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Perth?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
