THE ENGUITA SPIRIT OF ARTCAVA AND MANELA
I have read various reviews about ARTCAVA and LA MANELA. I had the opportunity to experience in first person the transformation and creation of the space LA MANELA in Avinyonet del Penedés. During the COVID period in 2019, I lived in the CANT BATLLE farm and collaborated in the motorhome area, which is my true passion. I watched the raw containers arrive, which are now the emblem of the brand, and saw how they were transformed with great care, affection and professionalism, taking care of every detail both inside and outside. The menu and initial products were designed and created by a team of gastronomic collaborators selected by Eric Enguita, one of the founders together with l’Ignasi of ARTCAVA and LA MANELA. In keeping with the high quality of the LA MANELA project, the service and customer service were truly exceptional. Back then we received no complaints; on the contrary, users praised the successful initiative that promised a bright future. At the same time, CANT BATLLE EXPERIENCE, an entrepreneurial initiative of l’Ignasi and his wife, emerged, which proved to be a success in experiences between vineyards. It should be mentioned that, as Eric mentioned in his reply, LA MANELA is managed by a business group that differs from the management of ARTCAVA. I have called "Espíritu Enguita" the constant, persevering, self-critical and high quality dedication that the Enguita family, Eric and his father, put into the creation of LA MANELA. Therefore, I find it difficult to assimilate user criticism, although I must admit that perhaps they are somewhat right. My departure from the place was due to differences that had nothing to do with gastronomic or cava. I hope that in LA MANELA the "Spirit Enguita" returns. JosepJP.

Wedding excursion to Artcava
My daughter and son-in-law planned this as an excursion for their wedding party. It was an amazing afternoon spent at Artcava. Santi was very passionate about their cava, traditions and region. He was entertaining and informative. Karen created amazing food pairings with their delicious wine and was extremely knowledgeable! And the best part was corking our own cava to take away as a souvenir. Would highly recommend for small or large groups!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! It’s an honor to be part of such a special celebration, and we're delighted to know the afternoon was memorable for your family and friends. Santi and Karen pour their passion into everything they do, from sharing the stories of our cava to crafting perfect food pairings. The hands-on corking of your own bottle is always a guest favorite, and we’re thrilled it added a personal touch to your day. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back for another special moment soon!

Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cava Making Experience at the Local Winery in Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
