    We had a fabulous private...

We had a fabulous private tour with Min to see Cormandel and the hot springs. We overslept our first day in Auckland, and Min was very patient with us :). It was remarkably comfortable, and cathedral cove was beautiful. The hot springs made for a super relaxing afternoon!

Response from the operator: Thanks for the great review for us. It's pleasure to hear that you enjoyed it.

    Beautiful beach, Relaxing spa!

A really good itinerary. We love the beautiful views, the unique rocks, and the turqoise water at the Cathedral cove. And turns out it’s also one of the shooting spot in the Chronicles of Narnia, one of my fav movies. We stopped by Hahei beach for lunch and had a quick stroll. The Hahei beach is also very beautiful! Then we get to enjoy a spa at the lost spring, truly relaxing. Very nice! Steve is super friendly and very helpful all throughout. Highly recommend this!

Response from the operator: Thanks for the great review for us. It was exciting tour with you as well.

    Hidden spa in Coromandel

I went to Auckland for business meeting and I had a day off. So I was looking for a relaxed tour to Coromandel where I never been to. I and my colleague choose to go to Cathedral Cove and the spa there. I found this trip, and Stevong was our guide. I have used this company few times before and it was really good. Stevong took us all the way to Coromandel. He is always professional. Cathedral cove was an amazing and phenomenal place. After this place, my body was tired enough and we visited the lost spring. It was an awesome spa. I strongly recommend this tour to everyone. Stevong Travel is the only one to visit this spa!

Response from the operator: Thanks for using our service again. It was pleasure to meet you again. Good to hear that you enjoyed at Coromandel.

North Island's hot destinations, the best hidden hot springs!!

It's a wedding anniversary, and without kids, my husband and I have a day trip, but we searched for Coromandel. This tour came to mind as I was driving around to learn about the unique tour and look for an English tour. They went to places they didn't go elsewhere. Usually I would link hot water beaches and Kessleralkove, but I thought it would be good to go to this unique hot spring. Still, Stephens travel is always impressed by how you found places like these treasures and made tours. Cezdalkov was here for the first time, but he was really beautiful. Walking. It was hard, but I forgot everything. The tracking path is too beautiful and there are many photo spots. And the hot spring for lunch... Really. Great. The atmosphere was really great, too great to just call it a hot spring. It was good that there were no children. The roast spring hot springs were really great. For those travelling to Coromandel or North Island, Coromandel is better recommended than Rotorua!!!

Response from the operator: 감사합니다. 결혼 기념일이셨군요. 좋은 시간 보내셨다니 다행이네요

Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Auckland.

How much does Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa cost?

    +

Prices start at $367 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Auckland usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa take?

    +

Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Auckland is not rushed.

Is Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Auckland, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Auckland can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Auckland and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cathedral Cove with the Lost Spring Hidden Spa start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Auckland within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Auckland?

    +

On Outty we rank every Auckland experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hobbiton & Waitomo Caves Guided Day Trip from Auckland incl lunch, Hobbiton Movie Set Small Group Tour with Cheeky Kiwi Travel, Hobbiton & Waitomo Glowworm Caves Tour with Lunch from Auckland. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Auckland?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Auckland?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
