Beautiful day on the water!
Wonderful way to spend time on the water in Palma. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect snd the ocean was glassy like a lake. The tour took us to a gorgeous bay to anchor, swim, ride paddle boards and have a fantastic BBQ lunch. The drinks are a cash bar however for your info, but reasonable. The meeting point is exactly where they tell you, however if you get there early (like we did), you might be confused. They show up more like 10 mins before your time so don’t be concerned. We would recommend this tour to others.

Horrible directions to the Cat from cruise ship../even taxi driver was puzzled, glad we left one hr early….NO ONE waiting at dock to let us know we were in right place!!!! Beautiful boat, nice ride to swim in cove. Food awful, crew not friendly, would not refund one member of our party that became ill that morning……unprofessional 😢
Response from the operator: Dear Nancy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand that arriving from a cruise ship can sometimes be confusing, and we regret that the directions did not feel clear enough for you. We will review the information provided to guests to see how we can make the meeting point easier to find. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the boat and the trip to the cove, but we are disappointed to read your comments regarding the food and the crew, as this is not the standard of service we aim to provide. Your feedback will be shared with our team so we can continue improving. Regarding the member of your party who became ill on the morning of the excursion, we are sorry they were unable to join. As with most scheduled activities, same-day cancellations are subject to the cancellation policy in place at the time of booking, which is why a refund could not be issued. We are sorry that your overall impression was not as positive as we would have wished, and we appreciate your comments as they help us improve our service. Best regards, Oasis Team

Over priced, below average food
The positives of this trip was that the boat itself was spacious and you got a lot of free time to go in the sea. About 1 hour into the trip we got 40 minutes to jump of the boat and have some ham and cheese however there was only 4 paddle board for 4 people and they want €13 to buy/use a mask and snorkel. Drinks prices were also quite high at €15 for a vodka. The next stop was around dinner time for 90 mins which was the bbq. The bbq was advertised with images of burgers and looked to be promising but in reality it was 2 miniature hotdogs, over cooked chicken and a single serving of sweetcorn, not very filling or worth the money in my opinion. This doesn’t go for everyone but a fair majority of the boat became sea sick as the place we docked for dinner was very choppy. There was music on board but overall the vibes weren’t really there. Overall this was not worth the 100 pound we payed each for this experience.

Made the Best of It
If you are coming from a cruise ship, you must take a taxi to Oasis, costs around 30 Euros. My husband and I miscalculated the distance from the ship and unfortunately, things did not go well. It was extremely hot and our stress levels were rising. We called Oasis and explained the situation, we had started walking, but then realized it was much further than we thought. You need to get to the town. It was impossible to get a taxi, so we called an Uber. Oasis was kind to give us a few more minutes so we wouldn't miss our trip. Unfortunately, the stress of not making it to Oasis caused my husband to not book an Uber for five people, and the driver arrived with only place for four. My husband stayed behind and we lost the money for his ticket. This is not the fault of Oasis, just bad planning and not knowing the area. Live and learn. We tried to make the best of it. Husband went off to join other family members while my kids, ages 16, 19 and 22 and I sailed off. The trip was lovely, and swimming in the Mediterranean was exquisite. We all enjoyed the trip, the views, and the down time. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Kids loved the paddle boards. I was very impressed with the clean bathrooms. If you're not a strong swimmer, they do offer water noodles and life jackets. If you're travelling with children, might be a good idea to bring their own life vests. Yes, people are around, but I always err on the side of caution, never underestimate Mother Nature. My only complaint was the food. I had ordered three vegetarian meals when I booked. I also wrote to them a few days earlier as a reminder, which was confirmed. Unfortunately, the captain didn't get the message. I had three choices; veggie meals cooked with the meat, waiting 90 minutes for the grill to cool off, then washed, or eat bread, salad and roasted corn. I went with the last choice. The captain was very apologetic and offered us free drinks, to compensate us for the mishap. I appreciated the gesture. I was just upset at myself for messing up, sad my husband wasn't with us, and losing the money. I hope this review helps future passengers.

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mallorca.
How much does Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ cost?
+
Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mallorca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ take?
+
Plan for about 4.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mallorca is not rushed.
Is Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mallorca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mallorca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mallorca and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Catamaran sailing in Mallorca through the Bay of Palma with BBQ start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mallorca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Mallorca?
+
On Outty we rank every Mallorca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mallorca Full Day Tour Valldemossa Deià and Sóller Experience, Best Mallorca Coves: Paddle Surf, Snorkeling and Guide, 3 Hours E-Bike Tour in Palma. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Mallorca?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Mallorca?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
