The organization of this...
The organization of this tour was not very good. The pick-up time at 8:00am for the boat time at 10:30am was not planned well. I had to wait for over 1hr at the pier without anybody to tell what to do. During the boat tour, the experience was good. At the end of the tour, the pick-up was unbelievable stressful. There was not instruction for the pick-up location and the person to pick up. I had to ask around the people at the pier to figure out. When the car showed up, the guests had to wait inside the car for 40 minutes without any reason. There were small kids amount the guests and the mom was very upset and had to push the driver to leave. At the end, nobody explained who the driver was waiting for. It supposed for a half day tour, it turned out was a full day tour (8:00am-7:30pm) which was unexpected.

Misleading advertising!
We did the Isla Mujeres with lunch & hotel pick up tour. The advertising and website are very misleading. The boat was very large with a lot of people. (It would have been nice to have the max number of people allowed put on the website, as this would have affected our decision to book with this company). They state the guides are bilingual, however, the English was very limited. It seemed 3-4 sentences in Spanish to one sentence in English, and the English was very difficult to understand. Thus, the communication was not clear as to instructions, etc. They advertise lunch at the "beach club" and then tour the Island. They took us to the Island BEFORE lunch so everyone was starving by the time we actually got to the lunch. They did not tell us we needed an ID to rent a golf cart on the island. The "beach club" was not the beach club as expected, but was actually a "Dolphin Discovery", which they pushed for us to buy (extra) the entire time we were on the boat. The lunch at the Dolphin Discovery was ok. The open bar and area to relax were nice. Overall, we were quite disappointed with this tour and would not use this company again.

Good choice
The places visited very nice and the crew very attentive. For 57 dollars we could tour the island on a guided tour by a local, we learned a lot from Isla Mujeres. The catamaran very cute and clean, I do not give a 5 because the animation was absent
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por tu comentario mejoraremos en la animación pronto Esperamos verte pronto Saludos

Katamaran and island women
Although Isla Mujeres is an exceptional place, transportation on the katamaran is a little awkward because many people go, about 60-100 in a small space, the drinks on board are excellent, then they leave you 30 min snorkeling, but the katamaran leaves you on the beach 1 hour without guide or any Service and you must pay 40 dollars to get to know the island and eat something extra, finally you pick up the katamaran and take you to eat, and take you back to Cancun. I do not recommend this activity as it is very expensive and does not offer many benefits.
Response from the operator: Gracias por tu comentario. Nos ayuda para mejorar el servicio Saludos

Amazing, I'd do it again.
I came with 4 other people (all adults) and the Mood is amazing, it is one of the best ways to enjoy the sea and the sun of Cancun, besides the view is beautiful, I recommend this tour for people looking to spend a very nice time among friends and who want a party Mood but relaxed
Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por su comentario. Esperamos verte nuevamente y nos recomiendes con tus amigos Saludos

Why this scores 47
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included cost?
+
Prices start at $89 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Catamaran Isla Mujeres Tour with Hotel Pick Up included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
