Josephine Falls
We arrive at Josephine Falls within the Wooroonoon National Park. At the base of Qlds highest mountain Bartle Frere into the world heritage Wet Tropics Rainforest. Enjoy the interpretive guided rainforest walk with your guide into a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. Learn of the endemic species of flora and fauna, immerse yourself in the sounds and sights of the biodiversity of the rainforest. Walk the path of the Noongyonbudda Ngadjon people and learn the significance of bush tucker, medicines and cultural significance. Guests have the option to enjoy a short swim.

Made memories you won't forget
Highly recommend. Simon was very knowledgeable on so many subjects. I want with 5 members if my family. At every stop you learned more and more about the culture and history of the area. His has a keen eye for the landscape, he was able to point out a python on the side of the road that everyone would have missed, spiders tucked away on their webs that we would have walked right past, and the highlight for me was the two cassowaries we were fortunate enough to see. Amazing time. We will certainly take another tour with Simon the next time we come to Australia. Truly some unforgettable memories.

Tropic Tours - a hidden gem
My mate John and I booked a tour with Tropic Tours and ended up being lucky enough to have a private tour with Simon on the Cassowary Goondoi Trip. It was an incredible day out with an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. Simon has a wealth of experience and makes sure the tour is tailored to your wishes. He goes above and beyond making this tour a hidden gem in Cairns. After a terrific day learning about the region, its wildlife and culture, we ended up seeing two cassowaries within 20 minutes and walking side by side with one along a beach. A highlight of our Australian expedition and topped off with a post tour pint! Cheers to Simon and all the best - could not recommend more!

Unique tour experience
My wife and I were fortunate enough to have a concierge recommend Tropic Tours' Culture tour. This is a small group, customizable tour that provides an experience that large group tours just can't match. Our guide, Simon, was personable, flexible and extremely knowledgeable. It's a full day, so Simon made sure we were comfortable at all times. Some hiking is involved, so he gauged the fitness of our group and adjusted accordingly. One of the many highlights was a stop for lunch and First Peoples cultural immersion at Radiant Life College. This was a genuine experience, not a staged show for tourist, and I truly appreciated the opportunity to have deep conversations over a delicious meal. This tour is well-suited for all but the most mobility challenged. Come ready to learn something new and you won't be disappointed. We feel like we've gained a friend in Simon and can't wait to get back and take their other tours.

Great mix of culture, nature, and relaxation
I highly recommend this small group tour of the Cassowary Coast. I appreciated being able to sit back, relax, and take in the scenery on route to the places we visited. The guide, Simon, is extremely knowledgeable and shared lots of insights about the land, culture, and history. The cultural experience with the First Nations people, including their dances, Dreamtime stories, and sitting down with them to ask about their lives and traditions, was really insightful. I also enjoyed the spear-throwing lesson; I hit the target a few times. The option of the afternoon swim rounded off the day with an immersive experience in the beautiful tropics. Really well organised, the bus was really comfortable and clean. Thank you Tropic Tours for a memorable day.
